A portable chair may include a first front leg and a second front leg connected by a front sled and a first back leg and a second back leg connected by a back sled. The front sled may include a first front foot and a second front foot and the back sled may include a first back foot and a second back foot. Each of the feet attached to the front and back sleds may include retention feature holes configured to allow water to drain from the sled/foot interface. The portable chair may further include a seat including a seat frame border including a plurality of protrusions. The seat frame border may be rigidly attached to the seat via an injection molding process. The portable chair may also include a seat frame to which the plurality of protrusions of the seat frame border is configured to be removably attached.
RATTAN WEAVING STRUCTURE, RATTAN CHAIR MADE WITH THE STRUCTURE AND A METHOD FOR FORMING A CONVEX KNOT THEREOF
The present invention discloses a plastic rattan weaving structure, a rattan chair made with the structure and a method for forming a convex knot. The convex knot has a cross section that is greater than the middle cross section of the rattan piece used for making the rattan weaving structure. The rattan weaving structure has the convex knots on its edge. The rattan chair has a chair seat, a skeleton, an armrest and a base. The chair seat has the convex knots on its edge. The method for forming the convex knot comprises pressing and fixing the edge of the plastic rattan piece with a mold, setting up heating elements around the edge, heating the edge of the plastic rattan with the heating elements to cause shrinkage and accumulation of the rattan inside the mold, and finally formation of the convex knot.
SEAT ELEMENT
A seat element includes a carrier frame and supporting surfaces. The carrier frame comprises a left-hand sidepiece and a right-hand sidepiece. The supporting surfaces are configured as the seat surface and back surface. At least one of the supporting surfaces comprises a cover element, wherein the cover element comprises a fabric and is supported on the left-hand sidepiece and on the right-hand sidepiece of the carrier frame. The seat element comprises actuators and the cover element is supported on the left-hand sidepiece and/or on the right-hand sidepiece by means of in each case at least one of the actuator, such that a level of tensioning to which the fabric of the cover element is subjected when the actuator has been activated is greater than a level of tensioning to which the fabric of the cover element is subjected when the actuator has been deactivated.

SEAT COMPRISING A FRAME AND A COVER, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A seat including a frame and a cover and having a seat surface and a backrest. The frame includes two side profiles lying at a mutual distance and delimiting the seat surface, two side profiles lying at a mutual distance and delimiting the backrest, and an upper profile extending between the side profiles. The seat surface and the backrest are defined by a cloth tensioned between the profiles. This cloth has at an end a folded-back part enclosing the upper profile, and a strap folded round the side profiles for the seat surface. A method for forming such a seat, and a frame and a cloth which are both intended for application in such a seat.

Tile chair
A seat includes a frame defining an interior space bounded by an outer periphery. A fabric portion extends radially inward from the frame. A plurality of bands is engaged with the fabric portion and a plurality of support members is coupled to one or more bands of the plurality of bands. Each support member includes a connection member and a contact member secured to the connection member. The contact members cooperate to form a support surface spanning at least a portion of the interior space.
MODULAR CHAIR AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAID MODULAR CHAIR
It is provided a modular chair (1) comprising a support structure including a frame (2) developing at least in part along a expansion trajectory (2a), a membrane (3) including a support surface (30) suitable for allowing the support of a user, an edge (31) capable of being at least partially constrained to said frame (2) and a tubular guide (32) arranged in correspondence with the edge (31), a cursor (4) defining an extension direction (4a) parallel at least partially with respect to the expansion trajectory (2a) and housed within at least part of the guide (32), wherein the frame (2) includes at least a protrusion (20) protruding in the incident direction with respect to the expansion trajectory (2a), and the slider (4) includes at least a receiving portion (40) configured to at least partially house the protuberance (20) in such a way as to rigidly constrain, in correspondence with at least one fixed point, the frame (2), the membrane (3) and the slider (4).
