The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is capable of forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for optical films. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that is for use on optical films and makes it possible to suppress an increase in the surface resistance of a transparent conductive layer even when a laminate including a transparent conductive layer and an optical film such as a polarizing plate with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer interposed therebetween is stored under hot and humid conditions.
