Cushion
An apparatus for improving blood flow in a user's leg and improving posture is disclosed herein. The apparatus is a portable seating cushion that a user may sit upon, which improves blood flow by reducing point-pressure that may otherwise be applied to nerves and blood vessels in a user's leg, including the sciatic nerve. Moreover, the portable seating cushion improves posture by creating a forward pelvic tilt, which causes the rest of the user's shoulders, spine, back, and neck to come into alignment when the user sits on the cushion.
SEAT BASE FOR A SADDLE SEAT
The present invention relates to a seat base for a saddle seat, the seat base (100) comprising a first face (102), the first face forming a planar surface to allow the seat base to be arranged on a surface to be seated, and a second face (104), the second face forming a concave surface, the concave surface restricting the lateral movement of the saddle seat by guiding the round lower part of the saddle seat towards the lowest point of the concave surface.
TELESCOPIC SINGLE-LEGGED PORTABLE WORKING CHAIR
The present invention relates to a single-legged portable working chair using a compression repulsive force of a spring body, wherein: when used, the telescopic single-legged portable working chair is worn on a user's body such that, when the user sits down, the spring body is compressed by the weight of the user's body to store power, and when the user stands up, the spring body pushes up the user's body using the compressed power, so that the power consumption required for the sitting and standing actions of the body can be reduced; when the user repeatedly lifts a weight, the load applied to the user's joints and muscles is alleviated by the magnitude of a repulsive force of the spring body.
MOLDED FOAM BODY
According to the present invention, in a plan view of a seat surface (10a), a plane area of a part surrounded by an inner edge (17a) of a rear part (17) in a left-right direction (X) and a contour (L) is larger than a plane area of a part sandwiched by an inner edge (18a) of a front part (18) in the left-right direction (X) and the contour (L) in the left-right direction (X). In addition, a part of a pair of left and right second synthetic resin materials forming a lower part having a maximum gap therebetween in the left-right direction (X) is positioned in a thigh rest part (14) and a part having a minimum gap is positioned in a hip rest part (15), and a maximum value (W1) of the gap between the pair of left and right second synthetic resin materials forming the lower part in the left-right direction (X) is two times or more a minimum value (W2) of the gap in the left-right direction (X).
Adjustable seating systems and associated structures
Structures of seating systems for human users are disclosed. In one embodiment, the structure comprises: a frame; a seat structure supported by the frame; and a back rest structure supported by the frame. The seat structure comprises a thigh support region and a pelvic support region where the pelvic support region defines a pelvic well for receiving an ischial tuberosity of the user and also provides a fulcrum to assist in rotating the pelvis of the user. The back rest structure comprises a gluteal panel for supporting a gluteal mass of the user and a posterior superior iliac spine (PSIS) panel disposed above the gluteal panel. The PSIS panel is adjustable to cause movement of a PSIS of the user and cooperate with the pelvic well to cause rotation of the pelvis of the user about the fulcrum provided by the pelvic well.
Vehicle seat
The present invention realizes a vehicle seat that allows for smooth movements of the shoulders of a sitter while maintaining a good fit for the sitter. The vehicle seat comprises a back seat having a lower part that supports a lower back area of a sitter, a central part that supports a ribs area, and an upper part that supports a shoulder blades area. The central part has a front surface formed so as to be wider than the lower part and the upper part as viewed from the front side, the front surface being curved with right and left ends thereof being projected forward. The seat back has a notched shape extending from the central part to the upper part such that shoulders of the sitter are exposed as viewed from the rear side.
Device to restore pelvic integrity and to strengthen the pelvic floor and antevert the pelvic region in seated posture and prevent crossed legs
A seat cushion for improvement of sitting posture and relief from back and leg pain has a seat portion tapering down from a back end toward a narrow front or forward end. The front end is provided with a vertical projection in the nature of a pommel. The pommel or post is sufficiently large to prevent a user from comfortably crossing his or her legs.
LUMBAR SUPPORT CHAIR HAVING STRUCTURE ADJUSTABLE ACCORDING TO CHANGE OF POSTURE
The present invention relates to a chair and, more particularly, to a lumbar support chair of which the shape and position are adjusted according to a change of posture of a sitter to support a user's lumbar, thereby providing a comfortable feeling and a posture correction effect.
LEGLESS CHAIR
A legless chair including a seat portion and a back portion, the legless chair comprising: grooves formed to extend in a substantially longitudinal direction, from a front edge toward positions corresponding to a lateral pair of ischial tuberosity at a rear, on a surface of the seat portion, wherein inclined surfaces defining the grooves are surfaces inclined gradually in a lateral direction.
ADJUSTABLE CHAIR
An adjustable chair with adjustable features to relieve the pressure on occupant's spine, tailbone, and pelvic bone when in sitting position. The adjustable chair includes a seat assembly and an adjustable support frame underlying the seat assembly with a plurality of legs and support casters. The seat assembly includes a backrest and a seat articulated together adjacent the lower edge of the backrest and rear edge of the seat. The automatic adjustable chair includes plurality of electrically motorized drive system to automate the various adjustable features. These drive systems are controlled by a single controller unit operable by the occupant from the sitting position.
