UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE SYSTEM COMPRISING AN ITEM OF UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE AND A CONTROL SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING AN UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE SYSTEM
An upholstered furniture system includes an item of upholstered furniture. The item of upholstered furniture includes electrical functions, at least one seating element, and a control system. The control system includes a mobile input device, a communications terminal, and at least one control unit arranged on the item of upholstered furniture. The at least one control unit is operatively connected to the communications terminal.
KNIT SEAT BACK FOR AN OFFICE CHAIR
A seat back for an office chair includes a knit material for extending over a structural frame. The knit material can be formed in a single knitting operation to include cushioning characteristics that vary across different regions of the knit material. The knit material may be a weft knit material having a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer, wherein the third layer is inlayed between the first and second layers and the inlay material is different from at least the first and second layers and provides a degree of cushioning between the first and second layers. The first and second layers are knit according to a predetermined pattern, the predetermined pattern determining crossing lines where the first and second layers cross one another and fix the third layer in position with respect to the first and second layers. The predetermined pattern is differentiated between regions of the back support, such that a first region of the back support has a higher density of crossing lines than a second region of the back support, the first region providing a different degree of cushioning than the second region.
Water impervious chair cushion
A cushion includes a cushion shell formed to define a fill receiving cavity and a cushion fill that resides within the fill receiving cavity. The cushion shell includes a shell upper surface, at least one shell side surface and a bottom surface. The shell upper surface is generally oriented parallel to a first plane. The shell upper surface does not include any seams and is fabricated from at least one water impervious material. The at least one shell side surface is generally oriented parallel to a second plane perpendicular to the first plane. The shell side surface is fabricated from the at least one water impervious material. The shell bottom surface is generally oriented parallel to the first plane. The shell bottom surface is fabricated from a water pervious material and is joined to the side surface along a bottom edge seam.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A FIBROUS PRODUCT FROM A FIBROUS NON-WOVEN
To produce a product from a fibrous non-woven which is formed from cross-linked fibers, at least one ambient condition of the fibrous non-woven is controlled during a recrystallization of a material comprised by the fibrous non-woven
CUSHION OR PILLOW HAVING EMBOSSING AND/OR DEBOSSING ELEMENTS, APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND A METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates generally to a pillow or cushion having embossing and/or debossing elements, apparatus, system, and a method thereof. More particularly, the invention encompasses an apparatus and a method to create fabric cushion or pillow that can have embossing or debossing or a combination of embossing and debossing on them. The invention further comprises of embossed and/or debossed cushion or pillow, with or without cushion filler or insert. These inventive cushion or pillow can be used for both indoor and outdoor purposes. The cushion or pillow sizes can be standard sizes, but they can also be custom sized for any measurement. Embossing and/or debossing are the processes of creating either raised or recessed relief, image, or design in emboss-able/deboss-able materials. For example, an embossed pattern would be raised against a background, while a debossed pattern would be sunken into the surface of the material.
