An armrest (8, 208) and a chair (100, 200) according to the present invention are provided with: an armrest body (8b, 208b) which is a movable member including a placing surface for supporting a limb of a seated person, and which is supported by a support rod (8a, 208a) from below so as to be movable in a horizontal direction; and a through-space (S, 200S) which is a guide portion indicating the position to be touched by the seated person when moving the armrest body (8b, 208b).

The upper end forms a rotary shaft which is inserted through an insertion hole of the bottom cover to be fixed on the first slide member. The positioning member includes a movable locking pin member. The angle of the plate member can be adjusted by the locking pin member being released from or locked into a positioning hole on the rotary shaft.

According to the present disclosure, a user can leave the chair from one side of the seat body, moreover, when the user is leaving the chair, the rotated armrest can still provide help for the user.

Adjustable armrest

An adjustable armrest includes a post and an armrest body. A sliding member is coupled to the post and has a non-circular contour on a horizontal plane. The armrest body receives a sliding seat. The sliding seat includes a track extending in a length direction. The sliding member is received in the track. The armrest body is movable relative to the post. The track includes a first section and a second section interconnected to the first section. The first and second sections are arranged in the length direction. The first section extends along a rectilinear line. The second section extends along a non-rectilinear line.

Chair armrest

A chair armrest is revealed. The chair armrest includes an armrest support, an armrest pad body, a connection body, and a connecting member. The armrest pad body has a mounting slot with an opening facing downward while the mounting slot has a depth and a shape. The connection body is provided with a thickness and a shape which are corresponding to the depth and the shape of the mounting slot. Thus the connection body can be mounted and positioned in the mounting slot. The armrest support and the connection body of are connected by the connecting member. During assembly of the chair armrest, the armrest support is connected to the connection body by the connecting member while the armrest pad body is affixed with the armrest support into one part by the connecting member. Thereby production cost is reduced.

ARMREST

An armrest according to the technology described herein includes a bracket, an armrest body, a device connecting port, an armrest-side connector, and a cable. The bracket is fixed to a seat frame. The armrest body is attached to the bracket to be rotatable. The device connecting port is exposed through an outer surface of the armrest body. The armrest-side connector is fixed to the seat frame at a position different from the bracket. The cable includes an end connected to the device connecting port and an end connected to an armrest-side connector. The armrest body includes a cable retaining portion through which the cable is passed and in which the cable is retained. Any one of the bracket and the armrest body includes a hole (an elongated hole) that allows movement of the cable along with rotation of the armrest body.

An armrest includes a bracket fixed to a frame of a seat, an armrest body member rotatably mounted on the bracket, a receiver coil mounted in the armrest body member, and a transmitter coil mounted in the bracket and transferring power to the receiver coil with a non-contact transmission system.
