Navigation Controller for Virtual-Reality Systems
A virtual-reality navigation controller includes a base, a seat, a vertical support to support the seat on the base, and a rotatable connector between the seat and the vertical support to tilt the seat about a rotational center of the rotatable connector in response to directional forces exerted by a user seated on the seat. The virtual-reality navigation controller further includes a motion-detection controller to measure pitch corresponding to the tilt of the seat resulting from the directional forces.
Articulating seating apparatus and system
An improved seating apparatus and system includes an interconnected plurality of articulating assemblies having an upright position and a seated position. Each of the articulating assemblies includes a seat member pivotally connected to a base member, and a back member pivotally connected to the seat member. The articulating assemblies are configured to pivot incrementally relative to one another between the seated position and the upright position. A portion of the articulating assemblies can be in the seated position while another portion can be in the upright position. The result can be a wave-like and/or curvilinear seating surface. The articulating assemblies are configured to automatically return from the seated position to the upright position. The articulating assemblies can be configured to articulate in two directions to provide two seating surfaces positioned on opposite sides of the back member of the seating apparatus.
Navigation Controller for Virtual-Reality Systems
A virtual-reality navigation controller includes a base and a seating portion. The seating portion includes a seat for supporting a weight of a user seated thereon and a back-rest coupled to the seat to move integrally with the seat and to support the user's back. The virtual-reality navigation controller further includes a vertical support to support the seating portion on the base, and a rotatable connector between the seating portion and the vertical support to tilt the seating portion about a rotational center of the rotatable connector when the user is seated on the seat. A radius of an arc formed by the tilting about the rotational center ranges from 300 mm to 800 mm. The virtual-reality navigation controller further includes a motion-detection controller to measure pitch corresponding to the tilt of the seating portion.

CHAIR TRAY AND CHASSIS, CHASSIS FORMING METHOD AND CHASSIS MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF THE SAME
The present invention discloses a chair tray and chassis, chassis forming method and chassis mounting structure of the same. The main points of its technical solution are that the chair chassis comprises a chassis body that is arranged with a mounting hole thereon for mounting a regulating knob. The edge at the position corresponding to the mounting hole of the chassis body is arranged with a flange. The structural strength and the fatigue strength of the chassis can be enhanced effectively by arranging the flange at the position corresponding to the mounting hole of the chassis, which avoids the occurrence of fracture at the perimeter of the mounting hole of the chassis during use or test and thus enables the thickness of the chassis to be reduced below 3 mm, reducing production material to a very large extent and saving production cost while also ensuring that it can pass the back pad fatigue test in the BIFMA standard. Additionally, the fact that the flange surrounds the mounting hole can increase the structural strength and the fatigue strength at the perimeter of the mounting hole of the chassis more all around with a better effect.
ARTICULATING SEATING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM

The articulating assemblies are configured to automatically return from the seated position to the upright position. The articulating assemblies can be configured to articulate in two directions to provide two seating surfaces positioned on opposite sides of the back member of the seating apparatus.
SEAT RECLINE MECHANISM, ADJUSTABLE SEATING ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD
A seat recline mechanism for, and method of controlling motion of a first assembly relative to a second assembly within a seating assembly includes a mechanism having first and second bearings for attaching to the first assembly, and a hub for attaching to the second assembly. The hub includes first and second inclined surfaces, the second inclined surface being oppositely-facing relative to the first inclined surface. In use, the first bearing is arranged to act against the first inclined surface and the relative position of the first bearing with respect to the first inclined surface is adjustable; and the second bearing is arranged to act against the second inclined surface and the relative position of the second bearing with respect to the second inclined surface is adjustable. One or more such mechanisms are provided for the seating assembly.
BATHING STAND FOR CHILDREN
A stand in the form of a chair (10) for supporting an object and in particular an infant or baby for bathing. The chair (10) includes a seat (24, 69) to support the torso of the object; a pedestal (40) upon which the seat (24, 69) is mounted in an elevated position; and adjustment means (33, 85) to facilitate selected rotation and locking of the seat (24, 69) relative to the pedestal (40). The seat (24, 69) comprises a capsule having sides (26, 71), a seat base (73) and a seatback (25, 75) to encapsulate the torso of the object. The adjustment means (33, 85) comprises rotation limiting means to restrict rotation of the seat (24, 69) relative to the chair (10) between a prescribed range of angular movement.
THEATER CHAIR OR SEAT WITH A FLIP-UP/FLIP-DOWN SEAT MEMBER, A RECLINING BACK MEMBER, AND AN AUTOMATIC RETURN
A theater chair comprises a flip-up/flip-down seat, a reclining backrest, and a reclining seat. An actuator is operatively connected to the reclining backrest for moving the backrest and seat from a normal or default upright position to any one of a multitude of reclined positions. The flip-up/flip-down seat is provided with a spring for returning the seat to its upright position when the seat is unoccupied. A sensor is operatively associated with the seat so as to effectively monitor the orientation of the seat. When the seat is vacated, the sensor will detect movement of the seat and send an appropriate signal to a control circuit which is operatively connected to the actuator. After a predetermined period of time, the actuator will be actuated so as to return the backrest from the reclined position to the default upright position.
