Such a tension-compression base may be used to support a platform, a stool, or an item of equipment that may be desirably held in a preferred orientation irrespective of terrain irregularities, and as furniture may be configured to rock with a user's body as a form of active seating.

A rope guiding device includes a base seat, two limiting link assemblies connected to the base seat, and a limiting rope. Each of the limiting link assemblies has a retaining space therein, and a guiding groove in spatial communication with the retaining space. The limiting rope includes two head pieces respectively and movably retained in the retaining spaces of the limiting link assemblies, and a rope body having two opposite end portions that respectively extends through the guiding grooves of the limiting link assemblies and that are respectively connected to the head pieces. Each of the head pieces has a width greater than the width of each of the guiding grooves and the width of the rope body.

The foldable chair frame includes a base, having three or more opening grooves; and three or more joint structures, each including a first rotating member and a second rotating member that are coaxially pin-jointed in the opening groove. A single push button may be used to cause the legs of the furniture to automatically deploy from the stowed configuration. A latch on each leg may retain the furniture in either the deployed or the stowed configurations. Arms may pivotably extending from the legs to form a seat of a chair or stool, or a top of a table, for example. The arms may telescope to form different configurations for the chair. When stowed, at least a portion of the arms are disposed within a channel formed by the legs, resulting in a compact stowed configuration. In the stowed configuration, multiple devices may join together for ease of transportation.

The elevating lift with a stabilized movable base includes a base with extendable legs that provide minimum to maximum adjustable stability during use and transport. A lift system is mounted on the base, and a platform assembly is mounted on top of the lift system for selective raising or lowering. Each extendable leg supports a caster, rendering the base movable, and selective extension and retraction of the legs adjusts the stability of the lift. A chair operable between an extended configuration and a collapsed configuration includes one or more legs, a handle and a locking mechanism. The one or more legs support a seat and the handle extends away from the seat opposite the one or more legs. The locking mechanism includes a lock plug disposed in an elongate trough. Movement of the handle between the extended and collapsed configurations involves depressing the lock plug and flipping the trough to an opposite side of the lock plug.

The present disclosure is directed to adjustable toilet footrests while using a toilet. In one example, an adjustable toilet footrest has a foot platform having at least two telescopic legs extending therefrom, wherein the telescopic legs have a locking mechanism that allows for the height of the platform to be selectively adjusted to a user's desire.

A device useful for exercise having a collapsed and an upright exercise position, the device comprising a collapsible lower frame and a collapsible upper frame. The lower frame has lower frame posts pivotably connected to a base structure. The lower frame post upper portions are linked together by a linking structure such that the lower frame posts form a pyramid structure in the lower frame upright exercise position. The collapsible upper frame has a upper frame posts pivotally connected to a top structure. The upper frame post lower portions are linked together by the linking structure such that the upper frame posts form an inverted pyramid in the upper frame upright exercise position. The linking structure connects the upper frame to the lower frame such that the upper frame can pivot relative to the lower frame when the device is in its upright exercise position.
