Chair with a tension-compression structure
There is provided a seating device having a group of three or more rigid compression members with successively smaller outer diameters that are sized to form a single nested structure. The seating device further has a seat having three or more seat connection points spaced about a flexible supporting web, a base having three or more base connection points, the three or more base connection points being connected by base tension members, and three or more flexible side tension members. Each compression member is removably engaged between a combination of a selected seat connection point and a selected base connection point, and each side tension member is engaged between a combination of a selected seat connection point and a selected base connection point, the combination of connection points engaged by each side tension member being different than the combination of connection points engaged by each compression member.
Adjustable toilet footrest and method of use
The present disclosure is directed to adjustable toilet footrests while using a toilet. In one embodiment, an adjustable toilet footrest comprises a foot platform having at least two telescopic legs extending therefrom, wherein the telescopic legs have a locking mechanism that allows for the height of the platform to be selectively adjusted to a user's desire.
A SUPPORT APPARATUS, SUCH AS A SEAT, FOLDABLE AND PORTABLE
The present invention concerns a group of portable supporting apparatuses of extendible kind and that can be opened and closed again, the apparatuses are composed of a junction; a plurality of poles hinged to the junctions a part of the poles which, when the apparatus is on using extended modality, branches off from the lower junction, in order to form legs and another part branches off upwards, so as to form an anchorage whereon a foldable surface is stretched that in use forms a supporting surface traction elements cooperating with the folding surface, which join one another all the ends of the poles that do not converge to the junctions. Thanks to a configuration preset by the orientation of the same poles, take together with them the structural configuration of anti-prism or other extremely stable and rigid configurations such as they can release the apparatuses, spread when in use, of the most torsional and bending stresses.
STAND FOR A SITTING OR LYING FURNITURE AND FURNITURE INCLUDING SAID STAND
This invention relates to a stand (FIG. 1) for a sitting or lying furniture, which stand is adjustable into a folded position for storage (FIG. 4) and transport and one or more extended usage positions. The stand has at least three legs (2), that in the usage position extend obliquely downward and outward and at least three arms (3), that in the usage position extends obliquely upward and outward and are arranged to support a canvas shaped sitting or lying module (FIG. 5-8). Arms and legs are at their lower and upper sections pivotally attached to a connecting hub (1a). A locking mechanism is attached to the connecting hub or the control means (4,8) and is arranged to restrict the legs movement outwards in the usage position. In the folded position the arms and legs extend substantially upward. The invention also refers to a sitting or lying furniture that includes such a stand.
Collapsible rolling stool
The present invention is a collapsible stool with a plurality of legs that can be stored either freestanding or hung, and that has a single handle that is used to carry, initiate expansion or collapse of, or used to guide the stool when sitting. Further, the stool has a novel mechanism that allows a smooth transition from collapse to expansion and expansion to collapse using a single handle. This same mechanism allows the stool to stand upright in a stable position in both the expanded and collapsed configurations.
FOLDABLE CHAIR
Foldable chair comprising a seat (10) and at least three legs (11) attached to the seat (10). A leg holder (12) which is arranged spaced apart from the seat (10) is associated with each leg (11) and each leg holder (12) has a connecting element. The legs are received at a mounting (13) by means of the connecting elements so as to be movable relative to one another. The leg holders (12) have as the connecting element a formed-on part, said formed-on parts (12a) being rotatably mounted between the legs (11) and thus a easy to produce, foldable chair is provided, which may take up high forces in the connecting means between the legs with minimal material wear.
ROPE GUIDING DEVICE AND WALKING STICK CHAIR HAVING THE SAME
A rope guiding device includes a base seat, two limiting link assemblies connected to the base seat, and a limiting rope. Each of the limiting link assemblies has a retaining space therein, and a guiding groove in spatial communication with the retaining space. The limiting rope includes two head pieces respectively and movably retained in the retaining spaces of the limiting link assemblies, and a rope body having two opposite end portions that respectively extends through the guiding grooves of the limiting link assemblies and that are respectively connected to the head pieces. Each of the head pieces has a width greater than the width of each of the guiding grooves and the width of the rope body.
FOLDABLE DEVICE
A foldable device includes a pivot base, three supporting rods, at least one folding rod unit, a linkage rod, and a pivot member that is located above the pivot base. The linkage rod has a pivot section that is pivotably connected to the pivot member, and a moving section that is opposite to the pivot section. The at least one folding rod unit is pivotably connected to one of the supporting rods. The moving section of the linkage rod is slidably mounted to the at least one folding rod unit. The at least one folding rod unit includes a folding rod that has a connecting section and a swing section, and that is movable relative to the one of the supporting rods between a folded position, in which the moving section of the linkage rod is adjacent to the swing section of the folding rod, and an expanded position.
Lightweight collapsible stool
A lightweight, collapsible, and portable wheeled seat, e.g., a wheeled office chair or stool, for travel, storage, and mobility, is disclosed.
