A treatment process for remediating contaminants in a mixture of contaminated fluids, including at least one liquid fluid and at least one gaseous fluid, includes the steps of: preparing a liquid treatment composition containing at least 80 volume % of an aqueous solution containing at least one hydroxide compound at a collective concentration of 35-55 weight percent, and at least one of fulvic acid and humic acid at a collective concentration of 0.1-5 wt % of the treatment composition; adding a dosage of the treatment composition to a mixture of contaminated fluids including a liquid portion and a gaseous portion; and allowing the treatment composition to react with the mixture of contaminated fluids for at least 10 minutes, wherein a pH of the treatment composition is at least 13.0 and the aqueous solution contains at least one of NaOH and KOH.
Enhancing H.SUB.2.S specification in NGL products
The present disclosure relates a system, including: a stripping column configured to separate hydrogen sulfide from natural gas liquids (NGL), the following fluidly connected to the stripping column: a first condensate input line, a second condensate input line, a condensate stripper feed line, a feed drum, an overhead gas product line, a bottoms product NGL line, a slip stream NGL line, a reboiler return line, and an external stripping gas line, wherein a portion of the slip stream NGL line is combined with the external stripping gas line and fed to the stripping column in a stripping gas feed line that is fluidly connected to the stripping column.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BIOCARBON PRODUCTION
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for producing biocarbon. In particular, the disclosure provides systems and methods for producing biocarbon from biomass using supercritical CO2 extraction to reduce impurities.
Compositions and methods for scavenging hydrogen sulfide
This invention provides compositions and methods that inhibit formation of alkenyl sulfide polymers and allow the hydrogen sulfide to be removed when scavenging hydrogen sulfide by reaction with aldehydes.
HYDROGEN SULPHIDE AND MERCAPTANS SCAVENGING COMPOSITIONS
The present invention relates to a composition for scavenging hydrogen sulphide and/or mercaptans in hydrocarbon streams, the composition comprising at least one oxazolidine compounds and at least one alkanolamine allowing boosting the effect of the oxazolidine compound.
OIL SOLUBLE SULFIDE SCAVENGERS WITH LOW SALT CORROSION AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THESE SCAVENGERS
Sulfide scavengers useful to reduce sulfide concentration in fluid streams and methods of using these scavengers. The scavengers comprise oil soluble reaction products of formaldehyde/N-substituted hydroxylamines and can be used to reduce, for example, H.sub.2S content in viscous hydrocarbon oil streams.
SEPARATION OF SULFUROUS MATERIALS
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for separation of sulfurous material(s) from a multi-component feed stream. The systems and methods can comprise contacting the multi-component feed stream with a solvent in a contacting column so that at least a portion of the sulfurous material(s) is transferred from the multi-component feed stream to the solvent. A stream of a substantially purified gas can thus be provided along with a liquid stream comprising at least a majority of the sulfurous material. In particular, the solvent can comprise liquid carbon dioxide, which can be particularly beneficial for removing sulfurous materials from multi-component feed streams.
ENHANCING H2S SPECIFICATION IN NGL PRODUCTS
Separation methods comprising: separating hydrogen sulfide from natural gas liquids (NGL) in a stripping column. Wherein the following are fluidly connected to the stripping column: a first condensate input line, a second condensate input line, a condensate stripper feed line, a feed drum, an overhead gas product line, a bottoms product NGL line, a slip stream NGL line, a reboiler return line, and an external stripping gas line. And feeding, to the stripping column in a stripping gas feed line fluidly connected to the stripping column, a portion of the slip stream NGL line in combination with the external stripping gas line.
SYSTEMS FOR AGGREGATING AND PROCESSING OF BIOGAS TO BIOMETHANE
A biogas collection and purification system that includes a plurality of sources of biogas and a network of conduits configured to convey the biogas from the sources to a central processing facility for processing the biogas into methane. The central processing facility removes impurities to convert biogas to biomethane and may include an H.sub.2S removal stage; an activated carbon scrubber; a gas drier; and a carbon dioxide removal stage. The facility also has a biomethane gas compressor configured to deliver the biomethane for use in power plants, for CNG production. Ancillaries to the system include fuel cells for direct electricity generation from biogas/biomethane.
ORGANIC SOLID WASTE TO METHANE FUEL GENERATION FOR SPACECRAFT
A system includes an oxidative combustion reactor configured to receive solid organic waste and O2, and to output a combined stream of H2O and CO2. A separator is configured to receive the combined stream of H2O and CO2 from the combustion reactor and to separately output a stream of CO2 and a stream of H2O. A Sabatier reactor is operatively connected to receive CO2 from the separator and to receive H2 from an H2 source, and to output gaseous CH4.
