COMPOSITION FOR USE IN OILS
A composition comprising a sheared antifoam solution/mixture with a mean particle size from about 0.01 microns to about 0.5 microns and a maximum particle size of less than about 1 micron. In this composition the sheared antifoam solution/mixture comprises antifoam solution/mixture comprising an antifoam and a base stock.
UNIQUE OIL AS A SERVICE EVENT
A method of performing a cleanup service on an internal combustion engine. The method involves draining used fleet oil from the engine, filling the engine with cleanup oil, draining the cleanup oil after an operation interval, and filling the engine with fresh fleet oil. The method can be performed as a remedial measure for an engine already exhibiting high oil consumption, or as a preventative measure on a healthy engine.

Composition and method for preventing or reducing engine knock and pre-ignition in high compression spark ignition engines
A method for preventing or reducing engine knock or pre-ignition in a high compression spark ignition engine lubricated with a lubricating oil by using as the lubricating oil a formulated oil. The formulated oil has a composition that contains at least one branched hydrocarbon having at least about 25% of the carbons in the form of methyl groups, or at least one polyol ester of at least one branched mono-carboxylic acid. A lubricating engine oil having a composition that contains at least one branched hydrocarbon having at least about 25% of the carbons in the form of methyl groups, or at least one polyol ester of at least one branched mono-carboxylic acid. The lubricating engine oils are useful as passenger vehicle engine oil (PVEO) products.

GREASE COMPOSITION
A grease composition comprises a base oil and an aluminium complex soap thickener, with graphite, molybdenum di-sulphide, calcium carbonate and bismuth sulphide all included as additives. The composition exhibits advantageous load, wear and friction performance, especially in extreme pressure environments, and is particularly suitable for use on open gears.

Shear-Stable Oil Compositions and Processes for Making the Same
An oil composition comprising a first component having pendant groups and a second component but free of a third component and process for making such oil composition, where a single molecule of the third component can form large shearable stable complex structure with two molecules of the first component via van der Waals force between pendant groups and the terminal carbon chains, and a single molecule of the second component is capable of adjoining no more than one molecule of the first type. The oil composition has high shear stability making it suitable for use in lubricants subject to repeated high shear stress events.
