LUBRICANT COMPOSITIONS
Lubricant composition formulations comprising at least one biodegradable plastic, such as polyhydroxyalkanoate and/or polybutylene succinate, and at least one lubricant, such as a vegetable oil.
LUBRICANT COMPOSITION
Provided is a lubricating oil composition comprising a base oil (A) containing a polyalkylene glycol (A1) and a polyol ester (A2), a phosphorus-based rust inhibitor (B), and an antioxidant (C) containing an amine-based antioxidant (C1). The lubricating oil composition exhibits a strong effect for suppressing sludge sedimentation even when used for an extended period of time in a high-temperature environment, and has excellent demulsibility and rust preventive properties, and therefore, can be suitably used in turbomachinery, compressors, hydraulic equipment, and machine tools.
Low viscosity low volatility lubricating oil base stocks and methods of use thereof
A composition including one or more diester compounds represented by the formula as defined herein. The composition has a viscosity (Kv.sub.100) from about 1 cSt to about 10 cSt at 100 C. as determined by ASTM D445, a viscosity index (VI) from about 100 to about 300 as determined by ASTM D2270, and a Noack volatility of no greater than 50 percent as determined by ASTM D5800. A process for producing the composition, a lubricating oil base stock and lubricating oil containing the composition, and a method for improving one or more of thermal and oxidative stability, solubility and dispersancy of polar additives, deposit control and traction control in a lubricating oil by using as the lubricating oil a formulated oil containing the composition.
LUBRICANT OIL COMPOSITION AND LUBRICATION METHOD
Provided are; a lubricating oil composition excellent in fuel saving performance, seizure resistance, wear resistance, fatigue lifetime and shear stability, which contains a base oil (A), an olefin polymer (B) having a number average molecular weight of 1,000 or more and 12,000 or less, and a specific sulfur compound (C) and wherein the content of all sulfur atoms based on the total amount of the composition is 1.2% by mass or more and 2.5% by mass or less; and a lubrication method using the lubricating oil composition.
Lubricant Composition Containing an Antiwear Agent
The invention provides a lubricant composition comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity and a protic acid salt of an N-hydrocarbyl-substituted gamma-(-) or delta-amino(thio)ester. The invention further relates to a method of lubricating a mechanical device with the lubricant composition.
Lubricant compositions
Lubricant composition formulations comprising at least one biodegradable plastic, such as polyhydroxyalkanoate and/or polybutylene succinate, and at least one lubricant, such as a vegetable oil.
A SOFA BED, AND A SOFA BED SLIDING SYSTEM FOR SUCH SOFA BED
A sofa bed sliding system (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700) for a sofa bed (1,1) is provided. The sliding system is forming a connection between a moveable sofa bed part (3, 3) and an associated frame structure (10, 10), wherein said sliding system (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700) comprises at least one sliding surface (110, 210, 310, 410, 510, 610) being coated with a lacquer comprising a resin, wherein said lacquer in turn is at least partly coated with a lipophilic composition coating to provide a slide layer with a lowered friction.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION
The lubricating oil composition of the present invention contains a base oil, a 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol (A), and at least one compound (B) selected from a benzotriazole compound and a sorbitan compound.
Low viscosity low volatility lubricating oil base stocks and methods of use thereof
A lubricating oil base stock including one or more monoesters represented by the formula (I), (II), (III) and (IV) as defined herein. The lubricating oil base stock has a high temperature high shear (HTHS) viscosity of less than about 1.7 cP as determined by ASTM D4683, and a Noack volatility from about 15 to about 90 percent as determined by ASTM D5800. A lubricating oil containing the lubricating oil base stock including one or more monoesters represented by the formula (I), (II), (III) and (IV) as defined herein. A method for improving one or more of thermal and oxidative stability, solubility and dispersancy of polar additives, deposit control and traction control in a lubricating oil by using as the lubricating oil a formulated oil containing the lubricating oil base stock including one or more monoesters represented by the formula (I), (II), (III) and (IV) as defined herein.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL COMPOSITION IMPROVING FRICTIONAL PROPERTY AND FUEL ECONOMY AND CLUTCH FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COMPRISING THE SAME
Provided herein is a composition used for a clutch of an automatic transmission. The composition improves fuel economy and abrasion resistance by enhancing a frictional property of a clutch and improving efficiency of the automatic transmission.
