Drilling fluid for downhole electrocrushing drilling
The disclosure relates to an electrocrushing drilling fluid with an electrocrushing drilling base fluid including a non-polar oil, water, and glycerin. The base fluid may further include a polar oil and an alkylene carbonate. The electrocrushing drilling fluid may further contain at least one additive. The electrocrushing drilling fluid may have a dielectric constant or dielectric strength of at least a set amount, an electric conductivity less than a set amount, or a combination of these properties. The disclosure further relates to an electrocrushing drilling system containing the electrocrushing drilling fluid and an electrocrushing drill bit.
Industrial lubricant including metal chalcogenide particles and phosphorus-based additive
An industrial lubricant composition including an oil base selected from the group consisting of vegetable oil, Group I, Group II, Group III, Group IV, Group V and combinations thereof and a phosphorus-based non-chlorine additive. The industrial lubricant also includes at least one intercalation compound of a metal chalcogenide, a carbon containing compound and a boron containing compound, wherein the intercalation compound may have a geometry that is a platelet shaped geometry, a spherical shaped geometry, a multi-layered fullerene-like geometry, a tubular-like geometry or a combination thereof.
Soap compositions and methods
Natural soap compositions and methods of manufacturing the same having anti-microbial properties for treating and preventing diaper rash and other microbial infections. The soap compositions may contain one or more fatty acids with carbon length ranging from four (C4) to twenty-two (C22) and/or natural fatty acid mixtures of coconut oil, olive oil, and/or tall oil fatty acids which are saponified with lye. The saponification lye may be sodium or potassium hydroxide. In preferred embodiments, the soap compositions contain at least one of sodium or potassium caprate, sodium or potassium caprylate, or mixtures thereof, especially 55:45% caprylate to caprate. The soap compositions are effective at treating or preventing diaper rashes and other microbial infections associated with Candida albicans (Cayeast), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Psaa Gram negative bacteria), Staphylococcus aureus (Saa Gram positive bacteria), and Aspergillus niger (Ana mold).
Flame-resistant additives for oil-based products and oil-based products containing flame-resistant additives
The present disclosure relates to an additive for a multi-use oil-based flame-resistant organic fluid for safely releasing corroded joints and fasteners and other general use purposes. The oil-based organic fluid includes a flame-resistant additive such as a carboxylated aromatic compound, which has a self-extinguishing effect on an arc of flame. The inclusion of carboxylated aromatic compounds release carbon dioxide when heated, causing the material to extinguish itself during ignition to resist catching on fire.
CUTTING FLUID, PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
The present application relates to metal cutting, and more particularly to a cutting fluid and a preparation method and an application thereof, especially the application in the processing of niobium-tungsten alloy (NB521). The preparation method of the cutting fluid is simple and requires low production cost. In the mechanical processing of niobium-tungsten alloy (NB521), the cutting fluid has good cooling performance, lubricity, load-bearing capacity, friction reduction and vibration absorption, and long service life. It also can effectively avoid built-up edges, thereby improving the service life of cutting tools and the processibility of materials. Therefore, products of good quality are produced to improve the yield, especially in the deep hole machining, and thus the cutting fluid of the present application is suitable for a wide range of applications.
Lubricating mixture having glycerides
The present invention relates to a lubricating mixture, which contains glycerides of natural origin and fatty acid alkyl esters. The glycerides are at least partly mono and/or diglycerides which form a mass fraction of 10% in the mixture. In a temperature range from 10 C. to at least 15 C. the mixture has a liquid phase with a solid fraction of 1 vol. %, which is formed from a fraction of glycerides and/or fatty acid alkyl esters. The mixture can be formed entirely from renewable raw materials, has a high viscosity index and is particularly suitable as a lubricant for use in gearings, electric motors or internal combustion engines.
Self-healing Insulation Fluid for Repairing Damaged Fluid Filled Cables
The disclosure describes a method of purifying a self-healing fluid (SHF) comprising a drying oil and dielectric fluid. The method comprises (a) filtering the SHF through an absorbent material; and (b) subsequently filtering the SHF through a micropore filter system.
Animal-based hydrocarbon firearm lubricant
A lubricant for firearms includes a base and nanoparticles dispersed throughout the base. The base may include a hydrocarbon or a mixture of hydrocarbons. The base may be in a liquid form or in a semisolid form. Fat from an animal source, such as porcine fat or, more specifically, bacon fat, may be employed as a hydrocarbon of the base. Fat from an animal source may be rendered or otherwise clarified. The nanoparticles may include nanospheres, which may have an average diameter of about 100 nm or less. The lubricant may also include a hydrocarbon from a vegetable source (e.g., a vegetable oil, etc.), a hydrocarbon from a petrochemical source, and/or a synthetic petrochemical lubricant. The lubricant may include a fragrance to impart it with a desired scent (e.g., a bacon scent, etc.). Methods for lubricating and cleaning metallic surfaces of firearms are also disclosed. In such a method, nanoparticles from a lubricant may be introduced into and retained within microscopic crevices in the metallic surfaces.
Fluid with polyalkylene glycol and unsaturated ester
A fluid contains a base oil consisting of an alcohol-initiated polyalkylene glycol where polyalkylene glycol component is selected from a homopolymer of 1,2-butylene oxide and copolymer of 1,2-butylene oxide and propylene oxide; a glycerol-initiated unsaturated ester that is free of tertiary carbon atoms and quaternary carbon atoms; and an antioxidant.
