PENETRATING OIL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A penetrating oil including isoalkane solvent and oil derived from biological sources and a method for producing the same, are disclosed. Use of a composition containing isoalkane solvent and oil derived from biological sources is further disclosed.
Vegetable oils with improved low temperature storage stability
The invention relates to oil formulation comprising C.sub.16-20 oils being stabilized for low temperature storage and preparation processes thereof. The invention also relates to the preparation of specific polymer compounds and their use as stabilizers for low temperature storage of C.sub.16-20 oils.
Medical lubricant
A medical lubricant may comprise a base oil. The medical lubricant can be used on a surgical device.
CLEANING COMPOSITIONS EMPLOYING EXTENDED CHAIN ANIONIC SURFACTANTS
The invention discloses synergistic combinations of surfactant blends and cleaning compositions employing the same. In certain embodiments a surfactant system is disclosed which includes an extended anionic surfactant with novel linker surfactants including one or more of an alkyl glycerol ether, an ethoxylated alkyl glycerol ether, an alcohol ethoxylate and/or a Gemini surfactant. This system forms emulsions with, and can remove greasy and oily stains, even those comprised of non-trans fats. The compositions may be used alone, as a pre-spotter or other pre-treatment or as a part of a soft surface or hard surface cleaning composition.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING FRICTION, TORQUE AND DRAG IN ARTIFICIAL LIFT SYSTEMS USED IN OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION WELLS
A method of lubricating a fluid production pump may include mixing a polarized lubricant with water to produce a diluted lubricant. The method may additionally include creating a flowpath within the fluid production pump. An initial volume of the diluted lubricant may be circulated within the flowpath to allow the diluted lubricant to react with components of the fluid production pump and form a protective barrier on the components of the fluid production pump. The method may further comprise repeatedly introducing a periodic volume of diluted lubricant into the fluid production pump according to a predefined lubrication schedule.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITIONS
The present application relates to biodegradable zero drip lubricating oil composition. The lubricating oil composition comprises a) an oil soluble polyalkylene glycol polymer; b) a vegetable base stock; and c) organic solvent excluding alcohol, wherein the oil soluble poly alkylene glycol and the vegetable base stock are present in a weight ratio from 1:2.6 to 1:8. The biodegradable lubricating oil compositions have high film strength, high load carrying capability, zero anti-drip property and maximum penetrability in the chain linkages, for application in roller chains and driving power trains having complex chain linkages.
Oilfield drilling lubricant for water-based and oil-based systems
This disclosure provides compositions comprising a suspension package, wherein the suspension packaging consists of solids for suspending in one or more liquids, wherein the solids comprise at least one of: (1) diamond dust, nano-diamonds, or combinations thereof; (2) tungsten; (3) graphite, graphene, or combinations thereof; and (4) silicon carbide. Further, 0.25% through 6% by volume of the composition, with the one or more liquids being present, in a 14.0 ppg aqueous CaBr.sub.2 solution, provides a coefficient of friction of less than 0.06 at a temperature between 250° F. and 400° F. at any time up through 10 minutes after combination of the 0.25% through 6% by volume of the composition to the 14.0 ppg aqueous CaBr.sub.2.
Method of lubricating food processing equipment and related food grade, high temperature lubricants and compositions
Methods of lubricating food processing equipment that include applying a food grade, high temperature lubricant composition to the food processing equipment are described. The composition includes a polyol polyester base oil that is a reaction product of at least one neopentyl polyhydric alcohol and at least one monocarboxylic acid. Also described are methods of preparing a food grade, high temperature composition comprising reacting at least one neopentyl polyhydric alcohol and at least one monocarboxylic acid. The composition may be a lubricant composition. Additionally, the invention provides a food grade, high temperature lubricant composition comprising a polyol polyester base oil that is a reaction product of at least one neopentyl polyhydric alcohol and at least one monocarboxylic acid.
