SUPPORTING DEVICE ADJUSTABLE BY AN ELECTRIC MOTOR
A supporting device adjustable by an electric motor and intended for supporting an upholstered unit of a piece of furniture for sitting and/or lying on, in particular for supporting a mattress of a bed. The supporting device has a main body and a supporting arrangement for supporting the upholstered unit and also an adjustment device for adjusting the supporting arrangement in respect of inclination and/or height relative to the main body. The adjustment device has at least one scissor-lift-like, Bowden-cable-actuable lifting arrangement, which acts between the main body and the supporting arrangement.
BED FOUNDATION ADJUSTMENT CONTROLS
A bed system can have an adjustable foundation and a user interface having at least one adjustment bar. The user interface can be communicatively coupled to an actuation system of the adjustable foundation such that raising a foot portion of the at least one adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to raise a foot section of the adjustable foundation, raising a head portion of the adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to raise a head section of the adjustable foundation, lowering the foot portion of the adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to lower the foot section of the adjustable foundation, and lowering the head portion of the adjustment bar can signal the actuation system to lower the head section of the adjustable foundation.
HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE BED
A bed includes a bed frame supported, in a starting position, via bed legs on a standing surface. A lifting device for lifting the bed between the starting position and a high position, has pivot mechanisms arranged on opposing sides of the bed frame, each provided with a lower frame part, an upper frame part mounted on the bed frame, and two levers pivotably connected to both the lower and upper frame part in the manner of a parallelogram mechanism. The lifting device includes at least one electric actuator for actuating the pivot mechanisms. In the starting position, the pivot mechanisms have no contact with the standing surface, while they are supported on the standing surface in the high position and hold the bed frame including the bed legs at a distance from the standing surface.
SWIVEL CASTOR ARRANGEMENT FOR A PIECE OF FURNITURE AND A BED WITH THE SWIVEL CASTOR ARRANGEMENT
A swivel castor arrangement for a piece of furniture comprises: a holder; a swivel castor including a wheel mounted rotatably about a first axis on a frame mounted rotatably about a second axis on the holder; and a U-shaped bracket having a web connecting two legs attached rotatably about a third axis. The bracket is pivotable about the third axis between first and second positions and is movable into the second position when the first and third axes are substantially parallel. The wheel is arranged in the second position between the bracket legs such that free rotation of the frame about the second axis is restricted, and the wheel in the first position is not arranged between the bracket legs such that free rotation of the frame about the second axis is possible. The bracket is pivotable by less than 90? to switch between the first and second positions.
Bed frame
The bed frame (100) comprises a first and a second transverse element (1, 2), made of metal having a box shape, respectively arranged close to the headboard (10) and the front head (11) of the bed (L), mutually connected by a pair of longitudinal elements (6). Said first and second transverse elements (1, 2) support bed joineries (8, 9), arranged inside the aforementioned longitudinal elements (6), suitable to act as spacers to support a bed base (12) on which the mattress (M) of the bed (L) itself is placed. By appropriately calibrating the height of the bed joineries (8, 9), which are interchangeable, according to the greater or lesser thickness of the mattress (M), it is obtained that the height from the ground of the upper horizontal side (20) of the latter, as well as its protrusion with respect to the upper edges of the longitudinal elements 6, are almost constant.
Foldable bed frame and inflatable bed
A foldable bed frame includes a plurality of support assemblies and a plurality of foldable assemblies, the support assembly includes a support pillar and a slidable component, the slidable component is slidably connected to the support pillar, the foldable assembly includes two connection rods intersecting with each other, the two connection rods of a same foldable assembly are located between two adjacent support pillars. An inflatable bed includes a bed body, an inflatable pump, a connection assembly and the foldable bed frame, the inflatable pump is mounted in the interior of the bed body.
BED PALLET AND LIFT-UP BED INCLUDING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a bed pallet and a lift-up bed including the same, and more particularly, to a bed pallet in which a plurality of members formed of a wood or metal material are combined into the shape of a frame to form a light framework, and an inner space of the framework is reinforced with light urethane foam, thereby achieving weight reduction, having excellent durability and structural stability, and being easy and convenient to manufacture. The bed pallet according to the present invention includes: a main body part which is formed by a plurality of members being combined into the shape of a frame having a predetermined pattern, has a plurality of filling spaces spaced apart from each other formed by the members, and has a mattress mounted thereon; and a reinforcing part filled in each of the filling spaces to reinforce the main body part. A lift-up bed according to another embodiment of the present invention includes: a bed frame in which goods are stored; a bed pallet configured to open or close an upper opening of the bed frame and have a mattress mounted on an upper surface thereof; and a pair of upward/downward moving parts coupled to both side walls of the bed frame and the bed pallet at the corresponding positions and configured to move the bed pallet upward or downward by rotation relative to the bed frame.
ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT LEGS FOR A MATTRESS FOUNDATION
Adjustable mattress foundations generally include a mattress support surface including a head and back section hingedly connected to an intermediate seat section at one end and a leg and foot section hingedly connected to the intermediate seat section at another end. The intermediate seat section includes spaced apart upper and lower panels, wherein the lower panel is hingedly connected to the head and back section and slideably engaged with side frame members of the foundation, and wherein the upper panel is stationary and hingedly connected to the leg and foot section. A linear actuator is operatively coupled to a linkage assembly to independently effect inclination or declination of the head and back section relative to the intermediate seat section and is further operative to effect an increase or decrease in a length of the intermediate seat section by movement of the lower panel relative to the upper panel.
BI-DIRECTIONAL BED RAIL ASSEMBLY
The present application provides a hook assembly having a latitudinal axis bisecting a body into an upper portion above the latitudinal axis further comprising a first bi-directional pin engagement slot and a lower portion below the latitudinal axis further comprising a second bi-directional pin engagement slot, wherein both the upper portion and the lower portion and the first bi-directional pin engagement slot and the second bi-directional engagement slot are mirror images of one another.
Economical Actuation Modules and Systems for Beds
The invention is directed to modules for installation in beds to adjustably support targeted body zones of a user. Modularization renders actively controlled bed technology available to a broad range of beds on the market including upgrading many users' existing beds. Bed actuation modules include one or more lift systems connected to a mechanical support which has bed mounting devices for enabling installation of the module in a broad range of bed frames. An adjustable height platform of each lift system can be raised or lowered without necessarily changing the angle of inclination thereof. Lift systems for variable support of two zones may be actuated by single actuator in a way that provides contra-acting movement of the respective mattress support surfaces. Optionally, inclusion of a sensing and inference system enables automatic control of a bed actuation module according to the inferred orientation of a user's body.
