CRIB
Disclosed is a crib that elevates a carriage from the lowered position to height that is user defined. The lifting motion is operated by holding buttons on controls on the unit or a wireless remote; releasing the button stops the motion. While in the elevated position, a sliding door assembly provides access to the inside of the carriage while leaving the underside of the carriage free of obstruction as to permit wheelchair using caretakers to freely pull underneath the elevated carriage. The carriage of the crib includes a mattress support, rear wall, right wall, left wall, and a front wall having a left and right sliding door. A telescoping lifting column is fastened to each of the right wall and left wall. The lifting columns have an electric linear actuator that perform the lifting and lowering operations of the carriage. The lifting columns extend downward and are fastened to feet.
Bedding support assembly and foldable bed frame having same
Disclosed are adjustable supports, bedding support assemblies, and foldable bed frames having adjustable supports, bedding support assemblies or both. A foldable bed frame includes first and second sub-frames, first and second leg assemblies, and one or more bedding support assemblies to support a bed cloth. First and second sub-frames are pivotally connected to each other at their proximal sides. First and second leg assemblies are pivotally connected with the first and second sub-frames, respectively. A bedding support assembly includes a bedding support, and one or more linking mechanisms to pivotally connect the bedding support with a sub-frame, a leg assembly or both. The bedding support assembly folds and unfolds along with the sub-frame and the leg assembly.
Frame height adjusting mechanism and frame therewith
A frame height adjusting mechanism is adapted for a frame including an inner pipe and an outer pipe sheathing on the inner pipe. A fixing hole is formed on one of the inner pipe and the outer pipe. A plurality of positioning holes is formed on the other one of the inner pipe and the outer pipe. The frame height adjusting mechanism includes a driving member which is slidably disposed on the inner pipe or the outer pipe where the fixing hole is formed and includes at least one first inclined surface, and at least one engaging member which is slidably disposed on the driving member and passing through the fixing hole to insert into one of the plurality of positioning holes. The at least one first inclined surface pushes the at least one engaging member to disengage from the corresponded positioning hole when the driving member slides upwardly.
Emergency lift and transport system
A mechanical lift features the low profile of a traditional wood and cloth cot stretcher allowing patients to be easily rolled or moved upon a flat surface. An integrated mechanical lift system then lifts a patient to a raised position without need for manual lifting. The lift allows patients to be moved and transported without back strain to health care workers or first responders. The lift may be raised by the mechanical movement or expansion of a piston.
PORTABLE BED ASSEMBLY
A portable bed includes an adjustable frame and a topper configured to be supported on the adjustable frame. The adjustable frame includes a first frame portion and a second frame portion. The first frame portion has a first end and a second end spaced a fixed distance apart from the first end. The second frame portion is configured to be adjustably coupled to the first frame portion. Adjustment of a position of the second frame portion relative to the first frame portion adjusts an overall length dimension of the frame measured between the first end of the first frame portion and an adjustable end of the second frame portion opposite the first end of the first frame portion. The topper comprises a plurality of elongate supports positioned within a cover between a first layer and a second layer of the cover.
ADJUSTABLE BED FRAME
A bed frame that is configured to tiltably move the mattress and maintain the mattress in a tilted orientation. The invention includes a first frame wherein the first frame includes opposing lateral wall members and opposing end walls forming a shape of the first frame. The first frame includes a support bar and pivot bar member extending thereacross. The invention includes a second frame wherein the second frame is disposed within the first frame being mateably shaped therewith. The second frame is tiltably moveable with respect to the first frame and further includes at least one support member that is configured to maintain a desired orientation angle of the second frame ensuing movement thereto. The at least one support member is operable to engage the support bar of the first frame. The first frame includes leg members providing elevation above the floor on which the bed frame is superposed.
ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT AND FOLDABLE BED FRAME HAVING SAME
Disclosed are adjustable supports, bedding support assemblies, and foldable bed frames having adjustable supports, bedding support assemblies or both. A foldable bed frame includes first and second sub-frames, first and second leg assemblies, and a plurality of adjustable supports. First and second sub-frames are pivotally connected with each other at their proximal sides. First and second leg assemblies are pivotally connected with the first and second sub-frames, respectively. Each adjustable support has one end connected to a sub-frame, and the other end connected to a leg assembly. An adjustable support includes movably coupled inner and outer bars, and a locking and unlocking mechanism to selectively restrict the inner and outer tubular bars from moving with respect to each other and thus selectively restrict the leg assembly from rotating with respect to the sub-frame.
VEHICLE HAVING A BED LIFT IN A SLIDE-OUT ROOM
A vehicle includes a slide-out room that moves between a retracted position and an extended position and a bed coupled to the slide-out room. The bed moves vertically between a lowered position where the bed is positioned to receive one or more persons thereon and a raised position where the bed is stowed.
BED, PREFERABLY HOSPITAL OR CARE BED
Bed, comprising a lower frame (1) and an upper frame (2) with a supporting surface for a mattress, and where the upper frame (2) is connected to the lower frame (1) so that the upper frame can be raised and lowered in proportion to the lower frame by means of one or more adjusting means (5, 6) driven by an electric motor. In order to prevent squeezing between the upper and lower frame when the upper frame is lowered, the bed is provided with anti squeezing means. These comprise a light source and a receiver positioned in a corner of the lower frame. The light source sends a light beam which follows the lower frame all the way around and runs just above the top side of the lower frame. When the light beam is interrupted the control unit reacts by cutting off the current for the motors.
LEVEL ADJUSTING SLEEPER BED DEVICE
A level adjusting sleeper bed device for leveling a sleeper bed includes a shell that is semi rigid, air tight and cuneal. A plurality of ports is positioned in the shell. A plurality of stiffeners that is rigid and elongated rectangularly shaped is reversibly couplable to a top of the shell. The shell is configured to be placed beneath a mattress of a sleeper bed. The ports are configured to add air to the shell, raising a first end of the shell relative to a second end of the shell, such that the mattress can be leveled. The stiffeners are positioned on the shell to support the mattress. The ports are configured to release the air from the shell as required by repositioning of the semi-trailer.
