ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT TUBULAR BED FRAME
A bed frame that can be assembled without tools and that may be easily adjusted to provide for more than one mattress height. The frame is formed by side rails having wedges that are inter fit cross rails having receivers to form supporting legs. An extension can be selectively added to or removed from the receivers to change the height of the supporting legs and thus the height of the bed frame. In one option, the cross rails are telescoping in a manner than ensure that a center support associated with a central rail is always positioned in the middle of the frame regardless of whether the frame is configured for a narrow or wide mattress. In another option, the middle of bed is supported by a third cross rail having an adjustable height leg formed from a center wedge and removable receiver.
Mattress elevation system and methods of making and using the same
The invention is directed to a system that assists a user in lifting one or more corners of a mattress. In this way, removing or inserting the bed sheets on a mattress is performed easier and faster. The system includes a portable air pump for pushing or directing air, and an air distributor that directs air from the pump to a series of inflatable bladders that function to raise and lower a mattress when inflated or deflated. The bladders are positioned between the mattress and a supporting structure of a bed (e.g., box springs). The tubing connects the air pump to the air distributor and the air distributor to each bladder.
WIDTH-ADJUSTABLE FOLDABLE BED
A width-adjustable foldable bed includes a main bed frame unit that includes a first bed frame subunit and a second bed frame subunit. The second bed frame subunit is pivotable relative to the first bed frame subunit to fold the main bed frame unit from a bed flat state, where the first bed frame subunit and the second bed frame subunit are arranged in a lengthwise direction, to a bed folded state, where the first bed frame subunit is stacked on top of the second bed frame subunit. Two lateral bed frame units are connected to two lateral sides of the first bed frame subunit and the second bed frame subunit. A backrest actuating device is connected to the first bed frame subunit, and is operable for driving the first bed frame subunit to switch between a first flat state and a first bent state.
Bed system with movable middle platform
A bed frame with two mattresses and a height-adjustable platform is described herein. The bed frame contains two separate areas for mattresses, with the platform placed there-between. The mattresses may be placed such that the mattresses do not touch each other, and such that one or both mattresses do not touch the movable platform. The bedframe may include a headboard. The platform may have a range of heights such that, at a lowest height thereof, its top level is substantially level with a top level of the bedframe and such that, at a highest height thereof, its top level is substantially higher than a top level of one or both of the mattresses.
BEDFRAME LIFTING DEVICE
A bedframe lifting device for enabling a physically disabled user to transfer from a wheelchair to a bed includes a bedframe and a lifting unit which is movably attached to the bedframe having the lifting unit resting upon a support surface. The lifting unit urges the bedframe downwardly toward the support surface to enable a user who employs a wheelchair to transfer from the wheelchair to a mattress that is positioned on the bedframe. The lifting unit urges the bedframe upwardly from the support surface to facilitate the user to sleep at a preferred height on the mattress. A communication unit is integrated into the lifting unit and the communication unit is in remote communication with a personal electronic to facilitate the user to remotely lift or lower the bedframe.

Adjustable pedestal structure of the bed
The object of the invention is the adjustable pedestal structure of the bed, by means of which the height and tilt positions of the sleeping platform structure can be adjusted. The pedestal structure consists of the three structural parts supported by the foot structure (30) equipped with wheels, the lower structural part (1a), the middle structural part (1b) and the upper structural part (1c), which consist of the rotation cylinders (2, 4, 6) acting as the adjustment mechanisms for the simultaneous or individual adjustment movements of the structural parts of the pedestal structure and the lever arms (3, 7, 5a) connected thereto and the axles (13a, 13b, 13c) connected to the ends of the lever arms to opposite ends of the rotation cylinders, around which the adjusting movements of the structural parts of the adjustable pedestal structure take place. The sleeping platform frame structure of the bed (31) is connected to the lever arms (5a) of the upper structural part (1c) of the pedestal structure.
Connector assembly, column, piece of furniture and method of manufacturing a column
A connector assembly for connecting a linear actuator to a telescopic housing includes an adapter part and a connector part. The linear actuator includes a telescopic tube system having an outer tube surrounding an inner spindle system. The telescopic housing has first, second, and third telescopic members arranged coaxially, with the third telescopic member arranged at least partially inside the first telescopic member and at least partially outside the second telescopic member. The adapter part is provided for attachment to the third telescopic part. The connector part is provided for attachment to the outer tube. The adapter part and the connector part have mechanical formations for producing a positive connection in the axial direction, which is arranged for connecting the outer tube to the third telescopic part.
Extendable support frame for an articulating bed platform
An articulating bed incorporates a base frame having base side rails and a head end and a foot end, and a support frame having support side rails. An extension assembly including a carriage is carried by the base side rails. The carriage is mounted with wheels engaging the base side rails to translate from a first position through a range progressing toward the head end to a fully translated position and a scissor mechanism having at least one forward scissor assembly and at least one aft scissor assembly extended by the translation of the carriage to place the scissor mechanism in an extended position to elevate the support frame from the base frame. Abase shroud is engaged to the base frame. A telescoping shroud is engaged to the support frame and telescopically received within the base shroud with the scissor mechanism in a retracted position and extended from the base shroud with the scissor mechanism in the extended position.
Height-adjustable bed
A bed includes a bed frame supported, in a starting position, via bed legs on a standing surface. A lifting device for lifting the bed between the starting position and a high position, has pivot mechanisms arranged on opposing sides of the bed frame, each provided with a lower frame part, an upper frame part mounted on the bed frame, and two levers pivotably connected to both the lower and upper frame part in the manner of a parallelogram mechanism. The lifting device includes at least one electric actuator for actuating the pivot mechanisms. In the starting position, the pivot mechanisms have no contact with the standing surface, while they are supported on the standing surface in the high position and hold the bed frame including the bed legs at a distance from the standing surface.
