SELENIDE DERIVATIVES OF FRAGRANCE COMPOUNDS
There is provided the use of selenide derivatives of fragrance compounds comprising an α,β-unsaturated aldehyde moiety, an α,β-unsaturated ketone moiety, an α,β-unsaturated ester moiety, an α,β-unsaturated lactone moiety or an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid moiety in consumer products. There are further provided methods for the synthesis of selenide derivatives, certain selenide derivatives, consumer products comprising the selenide derivatives and methods of perfuming an article or surface using such derivatives.
POLYMERIC MICROPARTICLES
The present invention relates to microparticles having a polymeric shell, and also to aqueous dispersions comprising these microparticles. The microparticles having a polymeric shell comprise: a) at least one acrylic copolymer of HASE type; b) at least one solid/liquid phase change material having a phase transition temperature Tf.sub.1 of greater than or equal to 20° C.; c) at least one solid/liquid phase change material having a phase transition temperature Tf.sub.2 of less than or equal to 30° C., provided that Tf.sub.2 is less than Tf.sub.1; d) optionally at least one active agent.

The present invention relates to novel esters of formula (I) as defined below and their use as fragrance or malodour reducing agents. PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF 1-(2,6,6-TRIMETHYLCYCLOHEXYL)-ALKAN-3-OLS
The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of 1-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohexylyalkan-3-ols, in particular 1-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohexyl)-hexan-3-ol. The invention further relates to 5-alkoxy-1-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohexenyl)-1-alken-3-ones and the use of these as a fragrance or as flavor, to a fragrance containing composition and/or a fragranced product containing 5-alkoxy-1-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohexenyl)-1-alken-3-ones and to a method for imparting or modifying a scent or a flavor to a composition by including said alkoxyalkenones into such composition.
Cyclohexanols and their use in perfume compositions
The present invention is directed to novel fragrance compounds and their unexpected advantageous use in improving, enhancing or modifying a fragrance formulation through the addition of an olfactory acceptable amount of the compounds, wherein the compounds are represented by the following formula: ##STR00001## an isomer or a mixture of isomers thereof, wherein one of R and R′ represents hydrogen with the other representing a C.sub.1-C.sub.6 linear, branched, or cyclic alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or aromatic group; and one of the dashed lines represents a carbon-carbon single bond with the other representing a carbon-carbon double bond.

PERFUME COMPOSITIONS
An ethanol-free perfumed composition includes a fragrance and: a) at least one crypto anionic surfactant, b) at least one ethoxylated nonionic surfactant having a molecular weight greater than 1700 containing at least 40% of ethylene oxide, d) at least one glycol having from 3 to 8 carbon atoms, and e) water; wherein the weight ratio of the fragrance to the surfactants and glycols is from 1/1 to 1/6.
