Further disclosed is a food processing system comprising at least one food processing unit that comprises a housing and food processing means within the housing, the housing being provided with a plurality of nozzles on an inside surface to deliver disinfectant and/or cleaning fluid towards the food processing means. Methods of disinfecting food processing equipment are also provided.
