LIQUID HAND DISHWASHING CLEANING COMPOSITION
A liquid hand dishwashing cleaning composition has a surfactant system. The surfactant system has an anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant package. The weight ratio of the nonionic surfactant to the anionic surfactant is greater than or equal to 1:1. The nonionic surfactant package has a mixture of a first nonionic surfactant and a second nonionic surfactant, wherein the first nonionic surfactant includes an alkyl polyglucoside surfactant. The surfactant system further includes a co-surfactant selected from the group consisting of amphoteric surfactant, zwitterionic surfactant, and mixtures thereof. The weight ratio of the anionic surfactant to the co-surfactant is from 1.0:1 to 2.4:1. The weight ratio of the first nonionic surfactant to the second nonionic surfactant is from 3:1 to 1:3.
LIQUID HAND DISHWASHING CLEANING COMPOSITION
A liquid hand dishwashing cleaning composition has a surfactant system in a level of from 15% to 40% by weight of the composition. The surfactant system has an anionic surfactant, a co-surfactant, and less than or equal to 18.4% of a nonionic surfactant package by weight of the composition. The weight ratio of the nonionic surfactant to the anionic surfactant is from 1:1 to 3:1. The nonionic surfactant package has a mixture of a first nonionic surfactant and a second nonionic surfactant. The first nonionic surfactant comprises an alkyl polyglucoside surfactant. The weight ratio of the anionic surfactant to the co-surfactant ranges from 1:1 to 8:1. The weight ratio of the first nonionic surfactant to the second nonionic surfactant ranges from 3:1 to 1:3.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCED DECONTAMINATION
Provided herein are compositions for removing and/or suppressing a hazardous material from an environment or from a body after an activity in athletic and recreational facilities. The hazardous material includes dusts or contaminants, including per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), and heavy metals. Also disclosed are methods of preparing the compositions and methods for decontamination of a surface with the compositions.
BLENDS OF FUNCTIONALIZED POLY ALKYL GLUCOSIDES FOR LAUNDRY SOIL REMOVAL
A laundry or fabric cleaning composition that comprises a surfactant blend that includes a nonionic alkyl polyglucoside, and a functionalized alkyl polyglucoside component.
Glycolipopeptide biosurfactants
Surfactants based on a newly discovered class of compounds include a hydrophobic lipid oligomer covalently linked to a peptide or peptide-like chain and a carbohydrate moiety, and a serine-leucinol dipeptide linked to the lipid oligomer. Such surfactants can be used to create an oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsion by mixing together a polar component; a non-polar component; and the surfactant. Biosurfactants of the newly discovered class can be made by isolating and culturing a microorganism which produces the biosurfactant, and then isolating the biosurfactant from the culture. A microorganism can be engineered to produce biosurfactant of this newly discovered class by expressing a set of heterologous genes involved in the biosynthesis of the biosurfactant in the microorganism.
LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITION
An article is provided herein which includes an aqueous liquid detergent and a package for the aqueous liquid detergent which is in direct contact with the aqueous liquid detergent, wherein the package is formed from a water-soluble, film-forming material. The aqueous liquid detergent includes at least one non-linear surfactant.
Acidic hard surface cleaners comprising alkylpyrrolidones
The need for an acidic liquid hard surface cleaning composition which provides improved removal of grease residues, while still being effective at removing limes-scale, is met by formulating an acidic liquid hard surface cleaning composition with an alkyl pyrrolidone, and additional nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of: alkoxylated nonionic surfactant, alkyl polyglucoside, and mixtures thereof, while limiting the amount of anionic surfactant present.
Cleansing compositions free of sodium chloride and sulfate-based surfactants
The present disclosure relates to cleansing compositions that are free of sulfate-based surfactants and free of sodium chloride. The cleansing compositions include: (a) one or more non-sulfate anionic surfactants; one or more amphoteric surfactants; one or more nonionic surfactants; (d) one or more hydrophobically modified poly(meth)acrylates; one or more silicones; and water. The cleansing compositions are particularly useful for cleansing hair and providing conditioning benefits to the hair.
Bleach compositions
Sanitizing and disinfecting compositions with relatively low levels of free available chlorine, with good effectiveness against microbes. The composition may include less than 0.5% by weight hypochlorite or other free available chlorine level, at least one nonionic or zwitterionic surfactant, with a pH from 8 to 12.5. The composition is characterized by an R value of greater than 0 (e.g., greater than 0.5, or equal to 1), where R is defined as the sum of the concentration of any nonionic, zwitterionic, and cationic surfactants divided by the total surfactant concentration (and total surfactant concentration may include any surfactant aids). The compositions may exhibit at least a 3-log reduction in M. bovis or C. diff population within 10 minutes (e.g., 4-6 minutes).
SURFACTANT COMPOSITION
The present invention is a surfactant composition containing (a) a branched alkyl sulfosuccinate ester having a branched alkyl group with 9 or 10 carbons and (b) a surfactant [excluding (a)].
