LIQUID DETERGENT COMPOSITION FOR TABLEWARE AND/OR KITCHEN HARD ARTICLES
The present invention is a liquid detergent composition for tableware and/or kitchen hard articles containing: (a) a nonionic surfactant with an HLB of 10.5 or less; (b) a surfactant selected from amine oxide-type surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, and nonionic surfactants with an HLB of 11 or more; and (c) an organic solvent with a logPow of 0 or more and 1.5 or less, wherein a proportion of component (a) in all surfactants is 30 mass % or more and 85 mass % or less, a mass ratio of the content of (c) to the content of (a), (c)/(a), is 1 or more and 10 or less, and a viscosity at 20° C. is 20 mPa.Math.s or less.
Viscoelastic amphoteric surfactant based composition for increasing oil well production
Alkaline or neutral viscoelastic cleaning compositions are disclosed which use non polymer thickening agents. According to the invention, cleaning compositions have been developed using viscoelastic surfactants in a neutral, acidic or alkaline cleaning formulations. These provide the dual benefit of thickening as well as an additional cleaning, thereby improving performance. Applicants have also identified several pseudo linking agents which when, used with viscoelastic surfactants provide viscoelasticity in alkaline cleaning compositions.

Amphoteric ester sulfonates
Disclosed are a variety of amphoteric ester sulfonates, including 3-(N, N-dimethyl-cocoylpropylammonio-1-yl)-2-hydroxypropanesulfonate. These amphoteric ester sulfonates can be advantageously prepared in high yield and purity by a two-step chemoenzymatic process, and have excellent surfactant properties.

METHOD FOR ESTIMATING PHYSICAL PROPERTY OF AQUEOUS SAMPLE
The present invention is a method for estimating a physical property of an aqueous sample containing a surfactant and water, comprising: adding an oil component and a phase-changing probe to the aqueous sample, and estimating the physical property of the aqueous sample from an amount of the phase-changing probe when a phase structure of the mixture changes.
REDUCED MIST ALKALINE CLEANER VIA THE USE OF ALKALI SOLUBLE EMULSION POLYMERS
Alkaline sprayable aqueous compositions for cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting are disclosed. In particular, the sprayable compositions include an alkali soluble emulsion polymer, an alkalinity source, a foaming agent, and water. Beneficially, the sprayable cleaning compositions have reduced misting and are environmentally safe for users to apply. Further the compositions exhibit less running on non-horizontal surfaces than acrylamide-based compositions.
CLEANING COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a cleaning composition comprising a) from 1 to 30 wt. % of a primary alkyl sulfate surfactant; b) from 1 to 10 wt. % of an amphoteric surfactant selected from betaines, glucamides and sultaines; and, c) from 1 to 10 wt. % of a rhamnolipid biosurfactant surfactant; wherein the ratio of primary alkyl sulfate surfactant to biosurfactant is from 8:1 to 1:10; and, wherein the ratio of primary alkyl sulfate surfactant to amphoteric surfactant is from 8:1 to 1:10; wherein the primary alkyl sulfate is a C.sub.10-C.sub.20 alkyl sulphate; to a method of treatment of a substrate; to a method of treatment of a textile; and to the use of a combination of a biosurfactant and amphoteric surfactant to improve the cold storage stability of primary alkyl sulfate containing formulations.
