HARD SURFACE CLEANING COMPOSITIONS WITH REDUCED SURFACE TENSION

The disclosure relates to hard surface cleaning compositions, methods of making the hard surface cleaning compositions, and methods of using the hard surface cleaning compositions. In particular, the hard surface cleaning compositions have reduced surface tension for cleaning surfaces with low surface free energy. Preferably, the hard surface cleaning compositions have low contact angles on a variety of surfaces.

Brewing vessel cleaning composition and related methods of use

An acidic cleaning composition and related methods of use for rapidly cleaning and sanitizing hard contact surfaces in the food and beverage industry. The acidic cleaning composition includes a concentrated acidic solution, a strong oxidizer, a surfactant, a suitable solvent and/or sufficient quantities of water. The acidic cleaning composition rapidly removes soils from food and beverage contact surfaces such as, for example, brewing vats and kegs, without requiring CO.sub.2 be removed from the brewery vessel. The acidic cleaning composition can be in a concentrated form for dilution with additional dilution water at ambient or faucet temperature as opposed to requiring the use of hot water. The acidic cleaning composition is free-rinsing leaving essentially no residue on the contact surface. The surfactant provides low-foam properties so as to avoid cavitation and damage within a pump assembly.

Cleaning Formulations for Chemically Sensitive Individuals: Compositions and Methods
20200377822 · 2020-12-03 ·

The present disclosure relates to cleaning compositions in general, and cleaning compositions that are well suited for use by individuals, who experience adverse health effects that may occur upon exposure to certain chemicals. This condition, characterized as multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS), makes it virtually impossible for certain individuals to use commercially available cleaning products without inducing immunological responses. The disclosure presents and describes protocols for the formulation and evaluation of a variety of cleaning products using a combination of .sup.14C assay, head space analysis and screening of both ingredients and final products for governmentally-regulated materials. The methods and compositions newly presented herein avoid causing adverse health responses in individuals and are suitable for use by any person, particularly individuals who experience MCS.

DEA-free pot and pan cleaner for hard water use

The present invention relates to novel cleaning compositions that are substantially free of cocamide diethanolamine. In an aspect of the invention, the compositions utilize a surfactant system and coupling agents as a replacement for the rheology modifier cocamide diethanolamine. The combination of a surfactant system and coupling agents can be used as a replacement for traditional rheology modifiers and foaming agents which are under regulatory pressure while providing concentrated liquid cleaning compositions with a viscosity of 400 cps or less. In another aspect the invention relates to novel cleaning compositions such as pot and pan soaking compositions, dishwashing compositions, food and beverage foaming cleaners, vehicle cleaning and the like suitable for use in hard water, which can be solid or liquid. The invention further relates to methods of making these compositions, and to methods employing these compositions.

LIQUID HAND DISHWASHING CLEANING COMPOSITION
20200181532 · 2020-06-11 ·

The need for a liquid hand-dishwashing composition which provides further improved sudsing volume and longevity when washing dishware using diluted liquid hand dishwashing compositions, especially in the presence of greasy soil and particulate soil, while still providing the desired cleaning, is met when the composition is formulated with a surfactant system comprising an anionic surfactant and a co-surfactant, and poly(1,3-propyleneglycol).

CLEANING COMPOSITION

The present invention relates to a hand dishwashing cleaning composition. In particular, the composition includes a surfactant system having an alkyl polyglucoside surfactant. The alkyl polyglucoside surfactant component allows for good dissolution profile of the composition during both manual dishwashing conditions with detergents dosed into a full sink or detergents directly dosed onto a sponge and washed under the tap. Process for preparing the composition and methods of use are also disclosed.
