and b) one or more surfactants.
The one or more polyesters of component a) possess advantageous stability in alkaline environments, possess beneficial solubility and advantageously are clearly soluble in alkaline compositions such as liquid laundry detergent compositions and also possess advantageous soil release and soil removal properties on fatty and oily stains.
AUTOMATIC DISHWASHING DETERGENT COMPOSITION
A phosphate-free automatic dishwashing cleaning composition including an organic complexing agent and a new protease.
AMPHIPHILIC POLYSACCHARIDE DERIVATIVES AND COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING SAME
The disclosure relates to compositions comprising a polysaccharide derivative, wherein the polysaccharide derivative comprises a polysaccharide substituted with a) at least one hydrophobic group, and b) at least one hydrophilic group, wherein the polysaccharide is poly alpha-1,3-glucan, poly alpha-1,6-glucan, or poly alpha-1,3-1,6-glucan.
LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITION
Disclosed herein is a laundry detergent composition comprising one or more low temperature enzyme that provides excellent cleaning under more environmentally friendly conditions. In particular, the low temperature enzyme(s) contained in the laundry detergent composition described herein provides excellent cleaning at lower temperatures and/or in shorter wash times than conventional laundry detergents. The lower wash temperature and/or shorter wash cycle conserves energy and/or water without sacrificing detergent performance.
TREATMENT COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING CATIONIC POLY ALPHA-1,6-GLUCAN ETHERS
Treatment compositions, such as fabric care or dish care compositions, that include poly alpha-1,6-glucan ether compounds, which include poly alpha-1,6-glucans substituted with at least one positively charged organic group, the compounds being characterized by, for example, a degree of substitution of about 0.001 to about 3.0, and optionally, where about 3% or more of the backbone glucose monomer units have branches via alpha-1,2- and/or alpha-1,3-glycosidic linkages. Methods related to making and using such compositions.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POWDER LAUNDRY DETERGENT
A method for producing a powder detergent; said method comprising steps of: (a) combining (i) a polymer comprising polymerized units of at least one nitrogen-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer having at least one pKa value from 6 to 11.5 and at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, (ii) at least one surfactant, (iii) inorganic salts and (iv) water to form a slurry; wherein the slurry has a solids content from 50 to 90 wt %; and (b) spray drying the slurry to form a powder detergent.
Alkoxylated Polycarboxylic Acid Amides
Alkoxylated polycarboxylic acid amides are provided obtainable by first reacting an aromatic polycarboxylic acid containing at least three carboxylic acid units or anhydrides derived therefrom, preferably an aromatic polycarboxylic acid containing three or four carboxylic acid units or anhydrides derived therefrom, more preferably an aromatic polycarboxylic acid containing three carboxylic acid units or anhydrides derived therefrom, even more preferably trimellitic acid or trimellitic acid anhydride, most preferably trimellitic acid anhydride, with an amine alkoxylate and in a second step reacting the resulting product with an alcohol or amine or a mixture of alcohols and/or amines, preferably with an alcohol.
PERSONAL AND HOME CARE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING FATTY ACIDS FROM TUNG SEED OIL AS ANTIMICROBIAL PRESERVATIVE
Disclosed herein are personal care and home care composition comprising the whole of fatty acids (unfractionated) of Tung seed oil (Aleurites fordii, Vernicia fordii (family:Euphorbiaceae) as an antimicrobial preservative. The invention further discloses process of preparation of such compositions having fatty acids of Tung seed oil which are produced by saponification of commercially available Tung oil from seeds of the nuts of Tung tree. The home and personal care compositions comprising ‘whole’ mixture of fatty acids derived from the corresponding triglyceride oil at concentration of 0.5 to 2% w/w of the total composition help preserve the composition without any additional antimicrobial preservatives.
