HEAVY DUTY LAUNDRY DETERGENT
A laundry detergent formulation is provided that is formed as an aqueous blend of surfactants, enzymes, builders, and soil release polymers to inhibit soil re-deposition back onto other clothing or elements of the washing machine. The detergent formulation also contains additives with properties that impart a treatment to fabrics that inhibits future soil deposition onto the clothing with continued use. The detergent formulation provides cleaning of heavy duty grease and automotive soils from clothing surfaces that is superior to current detergent products.
LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING RENEWABLE COMPONENTS
The present disclosure relates to detergent compositions that comprise renewable components and exhibit good performance, as compared to both traditional detergent formulations that contain non-renewable ingredients and known detergent formulations that contain renewable components.
DETERGENT COMPOSITION COMPRISING A POLYMER THAT PERFORMS BOTH A CLEANING AND RINSING FUNCTION
Industrial 2-in-1 cleaning compositions providing both detergency and rinseability in a single cleaning composition comprising a polymer are disclosed. Alkali metal carbonate-based cleaning compositions and methods of both making and using the same provide user-friendly, solid, detergent compositions without the need for using a separate rinse aid composition. The compositions and methods are particularly well suited for use in industrial cleaning using alkali metal carbonate compositions that beneficially provide cleaning and rinseability in the rinse cycle.
Poly (amino acid) rheology modifier compositions and methods of use
Rheology modifiers comprising cross-linked poly(amino acid) and methods of their use in aqueous compositions. The modifiers comprise cross-linked poly(amino acid) microparticles having a mean equivalent diameter when fully swollen in deionized water of up to 1000 μm, as measured by laser diffraction. In particular, the poly(amino acid) is D-, L- or D,L-Y-poly(glutamic acid). A method of preparing the modifier comprises cross-linking a poly(amino acid), drying the cross-linked poly(amino acid) and grinding the cross-linked poly(amino acid) to have the required diameter.
Particulate laundry softening wash additive comprising a quat and nonionic surfactant carrier
A composition including a plurality of particles, the plurality of particles including: about 25% to about 94% by weight a water soluble carrier; about 5% to about 45% by weight a quaternary ammonium compound; and about 0.5% to about 10% by weight a cationic polymer; wherein the plurality of particles comprises individual particles, each individual particle having a mass from about 1 mg to about 1 g.
DRYING-AID FOR LAUNDRY
Provided are drying aid compositions, which comprise an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide-ethylene oxide (EO/PO/EO) triblock copolymer and an aminosilicone. The compositions can be added to the aqueous bath during the laundry process to reduce the drying time of a textile. Also provided is a process for laundering a textile, which comprises contacting the textile with an aqueous bath containing a drying aid composition comprising an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide-ethylene oxide (EO/PO/EO) triblock copolymer and an aminosilicone.
Development of extensional viscosity for reduced atomization for diluted concentrate sprayer applications
A non-Newtonian concentrate composition includes a sensitizer or irritant, a surfactant, an anti-mist component and optionally a stability component. Example sensitizers and irritants include, but are not limited to, acids, quaternary compounds, and amines, and example anti-mist components include, but are not limited to, polyethylene oxide and polyacrylamide.
Itaconate surfactants
The invention provides an itaconate surfactant having the following formula (I) ##STR00001##
in which R.sup.1 is selected from aliphatic hydrocarbyl groups having 4 to 22 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 is selected from hydrogen and aliphatic hydrocarbyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and n is an integer ranging from 8 to 20. The surfactants of the invention are benign to the skin and to the environment yet can offer a performance that is comparable to that of “traditional” anionic and anionic/nonionic surfactant systems, especially on difficult-to-remove stains.
Benefit agent containing delivery particle
Benefit agent containing delivery particles that can be supplied as slurries, compositions comprising such particles, and processes for making and using such particles and compositions.
METHOD OF ELIMINATING ODOR
A method of eliminating odor by utilizing a tablet that is formed from sodium carbonate, sodium percarbonate, polyethylene glycol, and linear alkylbenzene sulfonate. The tablet is dissolved within water in order to form a scent neutralizing solution and then applied to an individual's clothing to eliminate the scent of the individual for hunting purposes.
