ENZYME FOR EASY-CLEANING OF STAINS
A liquid bioactive composition is provided that includes an enzyme with enzymatic activity toward a component of a biological stain. Also provided is a process for facilitating the removal of a biological stain is provided wherein the enzyme in the liquid bioactive coating material is capable of enzymatically degrading of one or more components of the biological stain to facilitate biological stain removal from a substrate.
Compositions and Their Use
Disclosed herein are compositions including (A) at least one polymer including (a) a core obtained by reacting a diamine H.sub.2N—Z—NH.sub.2 with a compound having a total number TN of carboxyl groups per molecule in the range of from 3 to 10, where Z is selected from C.sub.3-C.sub.12-cycloalkylene that may be non-substituted or substituted with one or more O—C.sub.1-C.sub.4-alkyl groups and where C.sub.3-C.sub.12-cycloalkylene may bear one to three methyl groups, and where carboxyl groups are selected from COOH and COOX.sup.1 with X.sup.1 being selected from C.sub.1-C.sub.4-alkyl, or two carboxyl groups together form an anhydride group, (b) polyalkylene oxide chains, and (B) at least one hydrolase.
LAUNDRY COMPOSITION
Disclosed is a laundry composition comprising a plurality of particles, wherein the particle comprises 30 to 95% of polyethylene glycol by weight of the particle, surfactant selected from anionic surfactant, nonionic surfactant, or a combination thereof, and occlusions of gas and wherein the surfactant is anionic surfactant.
NATURALLY DEGRADABLE MICROCAPSULES AND A METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a method of preparing microcapsules, and the microcapsules prepared according to the preparation method of the present invention can exhibit high versatility, natural degradability and long-term stability, and the active substance in the capsule can be stably loaded in the capsule even in the presence of a surfactant.
COLOUR CARE DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS
The need for a detergent composition which provides reduced dye transfer to co-washed fabrics, but also reduced dye fading during laundering is met by formulating the detergent composition with a combination of a branched nonionic surfactant and a dye transfer inhibition (DTI) polymer.
Powder and granule, process for making such powder and granule, and use thereof
The present invention is directed towards a process for making a powder or granule containing (A) at least one chelating agent selected from methyl glycine diacetic acid (MGDA) and glutamic acid diacetate (GLDA) and iminodisuccinic acid (IDS) and their respective alkali metal salts, (B) at least one homo- or copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid, partially or fully neutralized with alkali,
said process comprising the steps of (a) mixing the at least one chelating agent (A) and the at least one homo- or copolymer (B) in the presence of water, (b) removing most of said water by spray-drying or spray granulation using a gas with an inlet temperature of at least 125° C.
Compositions and methods for removing soil from surfaces
The present invention relates to a an aqueous composition for removing soils from a surface to be cleaned, formed from water, a detergent mixture and a rinse aid, wherein the detergent mixture comprises a peroxidation catalyst and wherein the rinse aid comprises an oxygen source. Such a composition may provide a more effective cleaning behaviour. The present invention further relates to a method for removing soil from a surface to be cleaned comprising applying to the surface to be cleaned a composition according to the invention.
Cleaning solvent compositions exhibiting azeotrope-like behavior and their use
An azeotropic cleaning solvent composition has from about 96 to about 98 weight percent 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-methoxypropane (“HFMOP”) and from about 2 to about 4 weight percent acetone, for example, about 97 weight percent HFMOP and about 3 weight percent acetone. Another composition of the invention has a weight ratio of HFMOP to acetone of about 24 to about 99, for example, about 24 to 49. Conventional additives such as surfactants, lubricants and co-solvents may be present in an amount not to exceed about 10 weight percent of the composition. A method of the invention comprises contacting an article of manufacture with the solvent composition in order to clean the article of manufacture and then removing the solvent composition from the article of manufacture.
GRANULES OF MGDA AND (METH)ACRYLIC ACID HOMO- OR CO-POLYMER; PROCESS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Process for making a granule containing (A) at least one chelating agent selected from alkali metal salts of methyl glycine diacetic acid (MGDA) and of iminodisuccinic acid (IDS), and, optionally, (B) at least one homo- or copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid, partially or fully neutralized with alkali,
said process comprising the steps of (a) providing an aqueous solution or slurry containing chelating agent (A) and, if applicable, (co)polymer (B), (b) removing most of said water by spray granulation in a fluidized bed, (c) treating the resultant granule in a vessel of which at least one part rotates around a horizontal axis and wherein said vessel is selected from paddle mixers, free-fall mixers and plough share mixers.
WASHING AND CLEANING AGENTS COMPRISING ENVIRONMENTALLY COMPATIBLE MICROCAPSULES
Washing and cleaning agents may include microcapsules comprising a core material where the core material may include at least one fragrance and a shell. The shell may consist of at least one first layer and one second layer with different chemical compositions. The shell may have a biodegradability, measured in accordance with OECD 301 F, of at least 40%. Such agents may be used for conditioning textiles or for cleaning textiles and/or hard surfaces.
