Method For Preparing A Particle- And Surfactant-Containing Liquid
A method including: a) providing a solvent-surfactant mixture; b) continuously passing the solvent-surfactant mixture through a main line; c) adjusting the yield point of the solvent-surfactant mixture in the main line to 0.1 to 10 Pa; d) continuously introducing particles having a diameter of 0.1 to 3 mm in the form of a carrier liquid-particle dispersion into the main line via a secondary line; e) continuously discharging the particle-containing solvent-surfactant mixture from the main line.
MICROCAPSULE COMPOSITIONS STABILIZED WITH VISCOSITY CONTROL AGENTS
Disclosed are microcapsule compositions each comprising a microcapsule suspended in an aqueous phase and a viscosity control agent, wherein the viscosity control agent is an acrylate copolymer, a cationic acrylamide copolymer, or a polysaccharide. Also disclosed are consumer products containing such a microcapsule composition.
CHEMICAL-MECHANICAL POLISHING COMPOSITION, RINSE COMPOSITION, CHEMICAL-MECHANICAL POLISHING METHOD, AND RINSING METHOD
Provided is a chemical-mechanical polishing composition including an abrasive, a basic component, a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether represented by the formula (i) RO-(AO).sub.n—H, wherein R is a linear or branched C.sub.1 to C.sub.15 alkyl group, A is an alkylene group selected from the group consisting of an ethylene group, a propylene group, and a combination thereof, and n represents average addition mol numbers of AO and is 2 to 30, and an aqueous carrier, a rinse composition including the polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether and an aqueous carrier, and a substrate chemical-mechanical polishing method and a rinsing method in which these are used.
AQUEOUS ALKALINE ABRASIVE CLEANING COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to aqueous alkaline abrasive cleaning compositions comprising quaternary ammonium compound that are stable over time.
Stable liquid detergent composition containing a self-structuring surfactant system
A stable liquid detergent composition containing a self-structuring surfactant system. A liquid detergent composition that includes a linear alkyl benzene sulfonate, and a co-surfactant selected from a zwitterionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, a branched non-ionic surfactant and mixture thereof, with a first viscosity of no less than 3000 mPa.Math.s measured at a first shear rate of 0.5 s.sup.−1, and a second viscosity of no more than 2,500 mPa.Math.s measured at a second shear rate of 20 s.sup.−1, and the ratio of the first viscosity to the second viscosity is no less than 3.
METHOD OF TREATING A SUBSTRATE WITH A MULTIPLICITY OF SOLID PARTICLES
A method of treating a substrate comprising a first step of agitating a composition comprising solid particles comprising biodegradable polyester having a number-average molecular weight of from 10,000 Daltons to 500,000 Daltons, said solid particles having a size of from 0.1 mm to 100 mm; a liquid medium; and the substrate, and a second step comprising separating the solid particles from the substrate.
SUSPENSION CLEANING
A method of cleaning a contaminated surface, such as cleaning the elongate interior lumen of an endo scope contaminated with flesh, bone, blood, mucous, faeces or biofilm, said method comprising the steps of: providing a suspension of solid particles in a liquid to said contaminated surface, and flowing said suspension along said surface thereby to remove contaminant from the surface. The suspension is preferably a paste, where the solid material may be e.g. crystals of a salt, silicon oxide or organic material. The paste preferably has a solid fraction between 5 and 55%. A rheology modifier may be present.
METHOD OF MAKING A CLEANING COMPOSITION
A method of making a translucent cleaning composition is disclosed. The method includes providing a perfume; providing a hydrogen bond receiving compound; providing a hydrogen bond providing compound; combining the hydrogen bond receiving compound with the hydrogen bond providing compound to create a eutectic liquid; adding the perfume to the eutectic liquid to create a perfumed eutectic liquid; and adjusting the pH of the perfumed eutectic liquid to above 6.0.
Wipes with foam
A foaming component for use in a foaming liquid dispenser, and an insert arranged so that it may be inserted into a liquid dispenser comprising the foaming component. The foaming component comprises a liquid chamber; an air chamber; a sparging component, which comprises a sparging interface and a foaming region; an exit aperture; and a pumping mechanism. The pumping mechanism is arranged such that it can transfer liquid from the liquid chamber directly to the foaming region, and air from the air chamber to the foaming region, via the sparging interface. The forcing of air through the sparging interface causes bubbles to form in the liquid located in the foaming region, resulting in a foamed mixture for dispensing. The pumping mechanism is then used to transfer the foamed mixture from the sparging component through the exit aperture, wherein the sparging interface is arranged such that at least a portion of the foaming region is positioned in between opposing surfaces of the sparging interface.
HIGHLY STABLE AND ALKALINE CLEANING SOLUTIONS AND SOLUBLE SURFACTANT
The present invention relates to new alkaline, preferably highly alkaline, cleaning solutions comprising surfactants with improved stability and cleaning performance under such conditions. It further relates to novel surfactants.
