Detergent Compositions

A detergent composition and processes for making and using same. A detergent composition that includes cellulose fibers to improve the deposition and/or retention of encapsulated benefit agent onto fabrics.

STRUCTURED LIQUID COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING COLLOIDAL DISPERSIONS OF POLY ALPHA-1,3-GLUCAN

Polysaccharides can be used to provide a liquid composition with desirable rheological properties while being compatible with other ingredients, such as enzymes, that may be used in formulating the liquid composition. The polysaccharides can be i) a colloidal dispersion of poly alpha-1,3-glucan, ii) poly alpha-1,3-glucan fibrids, iii) soy polysaccharide; or iv) a combination thereof.

AN AQUEOUS MULTILAMELLAR COMPOSITION FOR DELIVERING HYDROPHOBIC SUBSTANCES

An aqueous multilamellar composition for delivering a hydrophobic substance comprising: (i) about 50 wt. % to about 80 wt. % of phenylethylalcohol and/or phenylpropylalcohol; (ii) a mixture of (a) about 10 wt. % to about 20 wt. % of polyglyceryl-4 laurate/sebacate and (b) about 10 wt. % to about 20 wt. % of polyglyceryl-6 caprylate/caprate; (iii) about 10 wt. % to about 20 wt. % of octane-1,2-diol; (iv) optionally about 10 wt. % to about 20 wt. % of 1,3-propanediol; and (v) about 5.0 wt. % to about 80 wt. % of water. Also described is a method of use and process for preparing the same.

FABRIC CARE COMPOSITION COMPRISING GLYCERIDE COPOLYMERS

The present invention relates to fabric cleaning and/or treatment compositions as well as methods of making and using same. Such fabric cleaning and/or treatment compositions contain species of glyceride copolymers that have the required viscosity and lubricity. Thus, such species of glyceride copolymers provide improved softening performance and formulability.

Structuring agent for liquid detergent and personal care products

This invention relates to an external structuring agent for application in liquid detergent and personal care products. It has been found that cellulose based particles, which comprise cell wall material and their networks of cellulose based fibers and nanofibrils can advantageously be used to structure liquid detergent and personal care products, providing certain benefits that are much sought after in the design of such products. It is assumed that the organization of the cellulose fibrils, as it exists in the parenchymal cell walls, is at least partly retained in the cellulose based particles of the invention, even though part of the pectin and hemicellulose is removed there from. The process of making the structuring agent involves processing under relatively mild conditions, of a biological material that is currently considered a by-product.

Washing or Cleaning Agent Product Form
20250002824 · 2025-01-02 ·

A gel-like washing or cleaning agent product form which, in addition to good washing or cleaning performance, is characterized by high chemical and physical stability and simple manufacturability using sustainable substances and related methods. The product can include, amongst other things, at least one low-molecular-weight gelling agent having a molar mass of up to 2000 g/mol, at least one active washing or active cleaning agent, and at least one additional compound described by chemical formula (I).

Methods for producing liquid detergent products

Disclosed herein are methods for producing liquid detergent products using a vessel comprising an inlet, an outlet, an agitation device, and an additive mixing zone disposed between the inlet and the outlet. The method comprises introducing an unstructured liquid detergent precursor into the inlet of the vessel; mixing an additive and the unstructured liquid detergent precursor in an additive mixing zone to form a combined additive detergent; adding a structurant to the combined additive detergent downstream of the additive mixing zone to form a liquid detergent product. The liquid detergent products may be used in a water-soluble pouch, for e.g., a multi-compartment water-soluble pouch.

External structuring system for liquid laundry detergent composition

The present invention relates to external structuring system(s) (ESS) comprising crystallized triglycerides including crystallized hydrogenated castor oil (HCO), surfactant and organic non-amino functional alcohols to reduce shear sensitivity. The present invention also relates to laundry detergent compositions in liquid or gel form comprising ESS.

DEVELOPMENT OF EXTENSIONAL VISCOSITY FOR REDUCED ATOMIZATION FOR DILUTED CONCENTRATE SPRAYER APPLICATIONS

A non-Newtonian concentrate composition includes a sensitizer or irritant, a surfactant, an anti-mist component and optionally a stability component. Example sensitizers and irritants include, but are not limited to, acids, quaternary compounds, and amines, and example anti-mist components include, but are not limited to, polyethylene oxide and polyacrylamide.
