URINAL AIR FRESHENER
20180272022 · 2018-09-27 ·

An automatic dispensing device for volatile fluid operable to apply one or more agent to a local environment for more than 14 days. Preferred devices dispense a first agent for air freshening, and may optionally dispense a second agent, such as a drain cleaner. A workable drain cleaner is structured to permit a slow release of drain cleaning agent. A dispensing device may nonexclusively operate by evaporation of volatile fluid from a polymer or rubber-like carrier material that is infused with the volatile fluid; gravity-induced drip from a bulk supply of volatile fluid through a small orifice onto an emanator; osmotic transfer of volatile fluid from a bulk supply; gas-pump drive of volatile fluid at controlled pressure; or diffusion of volatile fluid through a wall of a container of bulk volatile fluid; and combinations thereof.

COMPOSITION FOR MAKING COMPRESSED CLEANING ARTICLES

The present invention is a cleaning composition including a binder, a gas generator, an acid, and at least about 0.1% water. The cleaning article has an aged Shore A hardness of at least about 10, an aged Shore D hardness of up to about 100, and a dissolution time of between about 1 minute and about 60 minutes.

CAGELESS SELF-ADHESIVE LAVATORY CLEANING COMPOSITION

The present invention is directed to a stable cageless self-adhesive block composition and methods of use thereof, the composition containing (a) from about 10% to about 60% by weight of an inorganic sodium salt; (b) from about 15% to about 75% by weight of an anionic surfactant; (c) from about 0.1% to about 10% by weight of an adhesion promoter; (d) from about 0.5% to about 10% of a chelating agent, (e) an anti-oxidant, (f) a dye, and (g) a fragrance, wherein when applied to the walls of a sanitary appliance, said block composition stays adhered to the wall for at least a period of up to 7, 10, 14, 21, 28 or 60 days.

CLEANING COMPOSITION HAVING HIGH SELF-ADHESION AND PROVIDING RESIDUAL BENEFITS

A composition for treating a hard surface. The composition has: (a) at least one adhesion promoter; (b) at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of: anionic, non-ionic, cationic, amphoteric, zwitterionic, and combinations thereof; (c) mineral oil; (d) water; (e) optionally, at least one solvent; and wherein the composition is self-adhering upon application to a surface to be treated, and wherein the composition provides a wet film to said surface when water passes over said composition and surface.

CLEANING GEL WITH GLYCINE BETAINE AMIDE

Cleaning compositions, which commonly are self-adherent gels, are provided. The cleaning compositions include (a) adhesion promoter, (b) glycine betaine amide, and (c) water. The glycine betaine amide is a compound of formula (I); where R is an aliphatic group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms and X represents an inorganic or organic anion. The adhesion promoter includes at least one compound including one or more polyalkoxy groups. The adhesion promoter may also include polysaccharide and/or synthetic polymer resin. Gel forms of the cleaning compositions typically have a gel melt temperature of at least about 55 C. and a viscosity at 25 C. of at least about 150,000 cP.

CLEANING GEL WITH GLYCINE BETAINE ESTER

Provided are self-adhering cleaning compositions that may include (a) an adhesion promoter, (b) a glycine betaine ester, and (c) water. Commonly, the adhesion promoter may include at least one compound including one or more polyalkoxy groups and the glycine betaine ester may be a compound of formula (I): Me.sub.3N.sup.+CH.sub.2C(O)OR X.sup. (I) wherein R is an aliphatic group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms and X represents an inorganic or organic anion. Typically, the composition is a gel and may have a gel melt temperature of about 55-80 C., a viscosity at 25 C. of at least about 150,000 cP, and/or a hardness of at least about 150 g. Methods for treating a hard surface, such as a toilet bowl, using the self-adhering cleaning compositions are also provided.

Agent for cleaning and/or deodorizing for use in the sanitary field which is used to adhere to a moistened surface of a sanitary object and gradually to dissolve as it is flushed with water, which agent includes a cleaning block including tensides (10), wherein the surface (12) of the cleaning block is sticky, or becomes sticky in the presence of water, wherein the block (10) has on at least one side of its surface (12) a coating (13) of powder particles (14) to a thickness between 5 m and 800 m.

TOILET RIM BLOCK AND RIM BLOCK CAGE

A toilet rim block which consists of an outer cover and a core, and to a rim block cage including the toilet rim block. The outer cover includes a first composition and the core includes a second composition. Preferably, the first and the second compositions differ from each other by at least one of the following features: different active substances, different concentration but same active substance, and different viscosity. The outer cover partly encloses the core, and the core protrudes on at least two faces of the toilet rim block right to the surface as a pole and is exposed. The toilet rim block is spherical and the second pole protrudes to the surface on the face of the toilet rim block opposite the first pole, and is exposed.
