Cleaning composition
The present invention relates to a hand dishwashing cleaning composition including a desirable foam rheology profile. In particular, the composition includes a surfactant system comprising an alkyl polyglucoside surfactant having a mixture of: (a) 60% or more of a first alkyl polyglucoside surfactant material having an average carbon chain length between 10 and 12; and (b) 40% or less of a second alkyl polyglucoside surfactant material having an average alkyl carbon chain length between 12 and 16. Such compositions exhibit surprising and unexpected good sudsing profile, preferably suitable suds rheology and aesthetics, especially when applied onto a cleaning implement upon dilution with wash water during the dishwashing process.
Chlorine dioxide disinfecting cloth
The invention relates to highly effective disinfecting or sterilising cloths with chlorine dioxide as the main active ingredient. For this, the chlorine dioxide is only generated shortly before use by bringing a cloth impregnated with a chlorite or chlorate salt in contact with a clearly defined amount of a suitable activation agent that is fluid or dissolved or admixed in a fluid, and prepackaged as a single dose, for the generation of chlorine dioxide. In a preferred embodiment, the impregnated cloth and the activation fluid are packaged in a common packaging unit and the activation occurs by breaking through a barrier separating the cloth or the cloths and the activation fluid. In a further preferred embodiment, the packaging is a moulded part having two packaging spaces separated from one another by removable barriers, which can be converted into a moulded part with only one chamber via simple pressure in one direction. The activation fluid or the disinfecting cloth can contain further substances, such as the pH-value-controlling substances, surfactants, guanidine derivatives, aldehydes, phenoxyethanols, phosphate esters, alcohols, sulfoxides, etc. Preferably, the disinfecting cloth according to the invention is used for disinfecting and/or sterilising medical instruments and/or medical products and/or surfaces.
Cleaning composition
The present invention relates to a hand dishwashing cleaning composition. In particular, the composition includes a surfactant system having an alkyl polyglucoside surfactant. The alkyl polyglucoside surfactant component allows for good dissolution profile of the composition during both manual dishwashing conditions with detergents dosed into a full sink or detergents directly dosed onto a sponge and washed under the tap. Process for preparing the composition and methods of use are also disclosed.
Wet Wipes With Improved Preservative Properties
A cleaning composition including a preservative formulation having a glycine, a diol and a phospholipid complex is disclosed. The cleaning composition can be loaded on a cleaning wipe and used for personal care. The glycine and diol provide a preservative booster to the preservative system for the cleaning composition containing a phospholipid complex, such as cocamidopropyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate, which has some limited independent preservation activity, depending on the level in the final formulation.
LAUNDRY DETERGENT ARTICLE
An article is provided that comprise a solid detergent formulation provided within a fabric pouch. The detergent can be formed of a typical detergent that is combined with a polymer granulation aid to provide the detergent as a formulation comprising a plurality of particles. The fabric pouch can be water-soluble and can particularly be formed of fibers (e.g., woven or non-woven) that are water soluble. The fabric pouch can have a plurality of pores that provide for rapid infiltration of water for dissolution of the detergent therein and the pouch itself while still avoiding any significant loss of the detergent therefrom prior to use in washing. A method of forming a detergent formulation is also provided.
Pre-moistened fibrous structures exhibiting increased capacity
Pre-moistened fibrous structures containing filaments and solid additives, wherein the fibrous structures exhibit capacity values that are superior to known pre-moistened fibrous structures as measured according to the Capacity Test Method described herein and methods for making same are provided.
Cleansing composition
Dental appliance cleansing composition comprising (a) fatty acid isopropyl ester, (b) polyoxyethylene sorbitan ester, (c) second sorbitan ester, wherein the cleansing composition does not contain methanol, ethanol or isopropyl alcohol. Dental appliance cleansing wipe impregnated with the composition. Use of the dental appliance cleansing composition or wipe for cleaning dental appliances and dentures.
Disinfectant composition
A disinfectant cleaning composition, the composition comprising: a nitrogen containing biocidal compound; a polymer comprising monomers of the following formulae: a) H2C═CR1-CO—NH—R2-N+R3R4R5X— wherein R1 represents hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl; R2 represents linear or branched C1-C12 alkylene; R3, R4 and R5, independently of one another, each represent hydrogen, C1-C18 alkyl or phenyl; and X— represents an anion selected from the group consisting of halide, sulfate, alkylsulfate, hydroxide, phosphate, acetate and formate; b) 40-75% by weight of N-isopropylacrylamide, based on the water-soluble polymer; c) acrylic and/or methacrylic acid and/or salts thereof; and d) H2C═CR—CO—NH—CR′R″R′″—SO3H, and salts thereof; wherein R, R′ and R″ independently represent hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or C1-C4 alkylene, and R′″ independently represents C1-C4 alkyl or C1-C4 alkylene.
WET WIPES WITH A CELLULOSIC SUBSTRATE AND GENTLE LOTION
A wet wipe with a substrate having cellulosic fibers and a lotion is provided. The lotion may have between about 96.0% and about 99.5%, by weight of the lotion, of water. The lotion may have a preservative system having benzoic acid and/or a salt thereof, succinic acid and/or a salt thereof, and phytic acid and/or a salt thereof. The lotion may also have a surfactant, pH buffering system, and a pH of about 3.5 to about 5.
Wipe with a guanidinyl-containing polymer
A wipe article includes a substrate, a cationic coating disposed on a surface of the substrate, distributed throughout the substrate, or both. The cationic coating contains a guanidinyl-containing polymer that is crosslinked and bound to the substrate. The substrate includes sponge, nonwoven fabric, or woven fabric. The wipes are useful for removing microorganisms from a microorganism-contaminated surface and also for reducing re-contamination of the cleaned surface or transfer to another surface of the removed microorganisms.
