METHODS OF WASHING STITCHBONDED NONWOVEN TOWELS USING A SOIL RELEASE POLYMER
A method of cleaning a soiled stitchbonded nonwoven towel, to provide hygienically-clean, odor-free towels having a non-durable soil release polymer agents on the fabrics and stitching. The method has a step of washing soiled stitchbonded nonwoven towels in a first aqueous wash solution formed from a first wash composition comprising a surfactant, a builder, an alkalinity source, and a soil release polymer, at a first alkaline pH, and at a first wash temperature sufficient to clean soil on the towels without redeposition of the soil back onto the towels or into the washing apparatus once the residual wash solution is drained. The method also has a step of treating the washed towels in a treatment solution formed from a post-wash composition comprising a soil release polymer agent, at a temperature and pH sufficient to aid in exhausting soil release polymer from the treatment solution and onto the towels or fabrics.
Bleaching using peroxyformic acid and an oxygen catalyst
A method for enhancing bleaching efficacy for treatment of articles, including for example laundry is disclosed. Methods for sanitizing and/or disinfecting and bleaching laundry and other articles is provided by washing the articles with a peroxyformic acid composition at a first pH for effective antimicrobial efficacy, thereafter applying an alkaline source to increase the pH for addition of a bleaching activator and/or catalyst for the bleaching agent at a second pH, and lastly draining the remaining components of the peroxyformic acid composition, and the bleaching agent and bleach activator/catalyst from the articles. The methods can be provided as part of a laundry cleaning operation and can be utilized in industrial and commercial applications.
METHOD, KIT, AND COMPOSITION FOR CORROSION REMOVAL
Methods, compositions, and kit(s) for removing corrosion or scale from a metal or a non-metal article are disclosed. In a first stage of the method, an article exhibiting corrosion can be exposed to an acid wash composition including a first acid component having one or more of HCl, Phosphoric Acid, Oxalic Acid, a second acid inhibitor/surfactant component including ethoxylated alkyl mercaptan, and a third thixotropic gelling agent component including Talc or Fumed silica, sufficient to cause gelling of the acid wash composition. In a second stage of the method performed subsequent to the first stage, the article can be exposed to an acid neutralizing composition comprising bicarbonate, borax, isopropyl alcohol and water.
TECHNIQUES FOR REQUESTING INTER-UE COORDINATION MESSAGES FOR SIDELINK
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for requesting inter-UE coordination messages for sidelink communications. In some cases, a method for wireless communications by a first user equipment (UE), include sending a first sidelink transmission to at least one second UE to trigger the second UE to transmit a report regarding sidelink resource availability and monitoring for a second sidelink transmission from the second UE after sending the first sidelink transmission.
TREATMENT LIQUID, CLEANING METHOD OF SEMICONDUCTOR SUBSTRATE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SEMICONDUCTOR ELEMENT
An object of the present invention is to provide a treatment liquid having excellent removability of a hydrophobic anticorrosion agent and excellent suppression property of copper surface roughness, a cleaning method of a semiconductor substrate, and a manufacturing method of a semiconductor element. The treatment liquid of the present invention contains at least one specific compound selected from the group consisting of a quaternary ammonium compound including a quaternary ammonium cation having a total number of carbon atoms of 5 or more and a quaternary phosphonium compound including a quaternary phosphonium cation having a total number of carbon atoms of 5 or more, a sulfur-containing compound, and a solvent.
System for generating aqueous ozone solution with variably controlled ozone generator and pipe assembly for in-line mixing
A system for generating aqueous ozone solution employs a variably controlled ozone generator and at least one pipe assembly for in-line mixing of ozone into water that is supplied to the system. The pipe assembly includes a first flow path for water to flow through. The first flow path includes one or more ozone intake ports that are fluidically coupled to the ozone generator. The pipe assembly further includes a second flow path fluidically coupled in parallel with the first flow path. The second flow path includes a control valve that selectively permits a portion of the water to flow through the second flow path to produce a negative pressure in the first flow path so that ozone is drawn into the first flow path through the one or more ozone intake ports and mixed into the water flowing through the first flow path.
Stain and odor treatment
A method of manufacturing a stain and odor treatment composition is provided. In one embodiment, the method includes providing a powdered buffering agent, combining an odor-modifying agent with the powdered buffering agent, and mixing the odor-modifying agent with the powdered buffering agent. The method also includes combining a powdered oxidizing agent with the powdered buffering agent and the odor-modifying agent, mixing the powdered oxidizing agent with the powdered buffering agent and the odor-modifying agent, and sealing the intermixed powdered buffering agent, the odor-modifying agent, and the powdered oxidizing agent in powdered form in a container substantially isolated from moisture.
Process of washing fabrics that have a softening active deposited thereon
The present disclosure relates to a process of washing fabrics where the fabrics have a softening active deposited thereon. It also relates to the use of a liquid laundry detergent composition used in the described process.
PROCESS FOR FLUSHING AN OLIGOMERIZATION REACTOR AND OLIGOMERIZATION OF AN OLEFIN
A process for flushing an oligomerization reactor is described, including flushing the oligomerization reactor with a flushing medium comprising C.sub.6 linear alpha olefins, C.sub.8 linear alpha olefins, C.sub.10 linear alpha olefins, or a combination including at least one of the foregoing, to provide a purge stream comprising the C.sub.6 linear alpha olefins, C.sub.8 linear alpha olefins, C.sub.10 linear alpha olefins, or a combination including at least one of the foregoing, and a polymer byproduct of an oligomerization reaction. A process for the oligomerization of an olefin is also described, wherein the process includes oligomerizing the olefin in the reactor to form a reaction product stream comprising linear alpha olefins, and subsequently flushing the oligomerization reactor according to the process disclosed herein.
COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS OR INTERMITTENT REMOVAL OF SOIL FROM RECIRCULATED WASHING SOLUTION
A method of removing food soils from a recirculated washing solution includes adding a flocculating agent to the recirculated washing solution and separating the particulates from the recirculated washing solution using a hydrocyclone. The flocculating agent causes a portion of the food soils to combine into particulates having a higher density.
