The method for producing the protein complex includes: (1) enclosing a crude water-soluble protein in a gel, air-oxidizing the gel, and eluting the protein complex into an aqueous solution; and (2) applying gravity to concentrate and precipitate the protein complex, redissolving the precipitate in an aqueous glycine sodium hydroxide solution of about 0.5 mM and allowing the same to homogeneously coexist with a high molecular weight compound, and re-precipitating the solution and dehydrating and drying the same to yield a protein complex coated with a high molecular weight compound.

The present invention relates to a microorganism able to produce L-threonine or L-tryptophan, and to a method for producing L-threonine or L-tryptophan by using same. Disclosed are methods and apparatuses utilizing an O.sub.2-insensitive FDH2 from the sulfate-reducing bacterium (SRB) Desulfovibrio vulgaris Hildenborough (DvH). The O.sub.2-insensitive FDH2 may be applied to a biofuel cell for generating electricity and generating hydrogen peroxide. The biofuel cell can also be applied to wearable or implantable devices as a power source. The O.sub.2-insensitive FDH2 can also be used in other applications not applying a fuel cell, such as hydrogen peroxide generation, a formate testing kit, or carbon capture applications.
