Adjustable sleeping system with massage function
Adjustable sleeping system with massage function. At least one example embodiment is a method of operating a sleeping system, the method including massaging a person residing on a sleeping surface of the sleeping system, the massaging by driving a plurality of adjustable spring assemblies, the plurality of adjustable spring assemblies part of an array of adjustable spring assemblies arranged such that a top of each adjustable spring assembly defines an upper surface parallel to the sleeping surface.
Pocketed spring unit and method of manufacture
A resilient unit has strings of individual coil springs (not shown) inside pockets 120 are arranged in an array. The strings together form a spring unit and are each secured to a common cover sheet S, which comprises a non-woven elastic fabric. It is welded ultrasonically or thermally whilst under tension in one or both of its major dimensions—i.e. in-plane—to the pockets 120, the material of which is substantially inelastic and non-woven. In this example the welds, labelled W, are located substantially centrally with respect to the generally circular end surfaces of the pockets.
Foldable tension spring mattress
A foldable tension spring mattress, wherein a vertical pressure is converted into a tension by means of a wrapping blanket; the tension acts on the periphery of a spring net and is converted into a pulling force acting on coil springs and penetrating springs; and then the pulling force is uniformly dispersed to each of the coil springs, so that the local overstressing of the coil springs and the penetrating springs is avoided, thereby preventing the spring net and the penetrating springs from being arched and sunken. As a result, the mattress may keep good elasticity all the time, which further increases the comfort level of the spring mattress. The present solution may alleviate the plastic deformation of the coil springs to further increase the comfort level of the spring mattress and improve the elasticity and durability of the spring mattress.
Pocketed Spring Assembly Having Dimensionally Stabilizing Substrate
A pocketed spring assembly comprises a plurality of parallel strings of individually pocketed springs. A dimensionally stabilizing substrate is secured to at least some of the strings on one of the top and bottom surfaces of the strings. A scrim sheet is secured to at least some of the strings on an opposed surface of the strings to maintain the positions of the strings. The dimensionally stabilizing substrate is laterally rigid enough to maintain length and width dimensions of the coil spring assembly. However, the dimensionally stabilizing substrate is flexible enough to allow the pocketed spring assembly to be roll packed for shipping.
SPRING CORE WITH INTEGRATED CUSHIONING LAYER
A spring core is provided that includes a plurality of coil springs having an upper portion and a lower portion that collectively define an interior cavity. The spring core further includes a continuous upper fabric layer that covers each coil spring and defines a recess in the interior cavity of each coil spring. A cushioning layer is positioned atop the continuous upper fabric layer and extends into the recess in the interior cavity of each coil spring. A mattress assembly is further provided that includes the spring core, an upper body supporting layer, and a lower foundation layer. Methods of producing a spring core are further provided.
Inclined pocketed spring string and pocketed spring bed core
An inclined pocketed spring string (4) and a pocketed spring bed core (3). The inclined pocketed spring string (4) comprises a plurality of pocketed individual springs (1) connected at intervals. Each pocketed individual spring (1) comprises a fabric (11) and an individual spring (12) packaged in the fabric (11). The individual springs (12) in the pocketed spring string (4) are entirely or partially inclined in the fabrics (11) in an inclined manner. The inclined pocketed spring string (4) and the pocketed spring bed core (3) of the present invention, as compared with the pocketed spring bed core of the same size, can effectively decrease the number of springs used and reduce manufacturing costs.

Method Of Making Pocketed Spring Assembly With Substrate
