Active multicompartmental pressure redistribution system
An interconnected multicompartmental pressure redistribution system that is able to precisely identify contact pressure points and address excess pressure on the body by redistributing the pressure in real time. Sensors that are part of a matrix of fluid substance-filled interactive pixels communicate with a microcontroller that may also be in wireless communication with a smart device. The microcontroller controls the individual fluid flow regulators located between the interactive pixels. This causes specific flow regulators to open, allowing the fluid substance to flow from one interactive pixel to another, redistributing pressure, as needed.
Air conditioned mattresses
Air conditioned mattresses have a core and at least one encasement configured to receive a conditioned flow of air into the encasement and to allow conditioned air to flow out of the encasement to a sleep surface of the mattress. Additional conditioned air conducting layers are provided in combination with the encasement.

A support system for the human body including two layers of 3D spacer fabric and one or more layers of a non-viscoelastic pressure relief material, such as a non-viscoelastic slow-recovery foam, latex foam, gel matrix or micro-coil, is disclosed. The support system reduces point pressure and evenly distributes pressure along the body, while providing a soft feel and more even and smooth transitions of movement.
Bedding products having flexible gel panels
A bedding product, such as a mattress, mattress topper, or pillow, includes a flexible gel panel having a gel layer with a top surface and a bottom surface, a flexible top layer overlying the top surface of the gel layer, and a flexible bottom layer overlying the bottom surface of the gel layer. The bedding product has a major surface and the flexible gel panel is integrated into the bedding product so that the flexible top layer of the flexible gel panel is juxtaposed with the major surface of the bedding product. The flexible gel panel removes body heat during use.
PERSON SUPPORT
A person support for supporting a person includes a first layer and a resilient second layer. The first layer has a surface topography with a first region with a curvature configured to correspond and generally conform, in an unloaded state, to the shape of a first portion of a person's body. The surface topography has a second region configured to correspond and generally conform, in an unloaded state, to the shape of a second portion of a person's body. The resilient second layer overlays the first layer and forms a person support surface.

A support cushion for converting a temperature difference into an electrical voltage is provided. The support cushion includes a body supporting portion, a heat dissipating portion comprised of a thermally-absorbent material and positioned adjacent to the body supporting portion, and a plurality of thermoelectric elements that are positioned and configured to convert a temperature difference between the body supporting portion and the heat dissipating portion into an electric voltage at a charging port. Methods of converting a temperature difference into an electric voltage are also provided.
