A gully for operatively directing fluid runoff from the infant support surface and over the foot end of the bed member is defined by a break in the raised walls located near the foot end of the bed member. The bed member is receivable on a base member. The base member defines first and second cavities, within which respective first and seconds drawers are slidably movable along axes being transverse one another. The first drawer is shaped and sized such that even when in a retracted condition within the first cavity, at least a portion of an upper open end thereof extends longitudinally beyond the foot end of the bed member.

Each of a plurality of connectors that is coupled to a circumference of the shell is configured to selectively couple to a crib to removably couple the shell to the crib so that the shell covers a portion of a siderail of the crib. The panel is configured to protect a child who is positioned in the crib from injury due to impact with the portion of the respective siderail.

A bottom surface of the basin is compatible with the depressed portion. The top cover can attach at a top edge portion of the body such that the top cover serves as a barrier device in providing access to the basin. A method of use is also disclosed that comprises the step of mounting into a childcare station as described above.

Infant calming/sleep-aid device

An infant calming/sleep-aid device that includes a moving platform and a sound generator, the sound and motion adapted to calm a fussy baby, induce sleep, and maintain sleep under normal conditions. The device makes a determination as to whether sound signals represent sound coming from inside the device or outside the device. If the sound signals are coming from the inside the device, then the signals are evaluated in a specified frequency band to determine whether the sound is a baby cry. If a determination is made that there is a baby cry, then a threshold analysis is performed to quantify the cry and compare it to a threshold value. If the cry is above a specified threshold, the device moves the platform and/or generates sound.
