DURABLE CRIB SHIELD SYSTEM
A crib liner constructed of breathable material having a reduced suffocation resistance level for infant and toddler use. In some configurations, the breathable material may include an inner fabric, outer fabric, and a pile substructure between the front and back substructures, thereby allowing air to move effectively therethrough.
Crib liner
A crib liner, suitable for use with a crib, wherein the crib has a first, second, third and fourth side configured for receiving a mattress is disclosed. The crib also includes four corners, wherein each corner is constructed as part of where two adjacent sides meet; wherein at least one first, second, third or fourth sides has a horizontal top bar and a plurality of vertical spaced support elements. The crib liner includes at least a first panel configured to cover a portion of the vertical spaced support elements. The first panel includes a breathable body portion, a bottom border, a top border and side borders and at least a first and second fastener at each end to attach the first panel to the crib. The breathable body portion includes a first material having a front layer and a back layer attached to each other and having different fabric weaves; the breathable body portion having an air permeability of between 385 CFM to 1530 CFM and a light permeability of between 47 and 99%.
Devices and Methods to Protect Neonates During Bed-Sharing and Co-Sleeping
This disclosure provides designs for inexpensive devices that can be sturdy, pleasing to the eye, light in weight, and attractively padded, to form an enclosure around an infant or neonate that is open at its bottom. These devices protect neonates from injury during bed-sharing or co-sleeping with other individuals. These enclosures include roll-over bars to protect infants and neonates from being injured or asphyxiated by weight of a co-sleeper inadvertently moving on top of a roll-over bar. Devices can be shaped to allow for easy placement and removal of the infant, or to place the enclosure with the respective roll-over bar(s) over an infant. Roll-over bar(s) can be hinged or intercalated with pivots to deflect frame base portions when an infant body part finds itself accidentally caught under them. The rotation can be limited to an angle that still allows for the roll-over bar to be above an infant's body when frame base portion(s) are raised above the sleeping surface by the pressure and forces exerted on a roll-over bar when a co-sleeper inadvertently moves over a roll-over bar.
Baby crib
A baby crib comprises an upper frame, a lower frame and support members attached to the upper frame and the lower frame. The upper frame comprises a first part firmly attached to the support members and a second part. The second part is pivotally coupled with the support members to move reversibly from a first position to a second position to move said second part relative to said first part.
Infant Safety Apparatus
An infant safety apparatus. The apparatus includes a harness and a flexible base that are affixed to each other at a juncture. The harness includes a plurality of members for securing an infant's midsection to the flexible base, such that a portion of the infant's back contacts the flexible base. The flexible base includes a plurality of arms for securing to a bed mattress, such that each arm retains the flexible base in place. The infant safety apparatus is designed to maintain the infant in a supine position or side position while preventing the infant from overturning onto a prone position, such that a rear side of the infant continuously contacts the flexible base while the infant is secured within the apparatus. In this way, the infant safety apparatus maintains the infant in a secure position and facilitates breathing by the infant.
Infant calming/sleep-aid and SIDS prevention device with drive system
An infant calming/sleep-aid/SIDS detection device is provided that includes a moving platform that moves in a variable manner with accompanying variable sound generation, the sound and motion adapted to calm a fussy baby, induce sleep, and maintain sleep under normal conditions. The moving platform is above a carrier and in contact with at least one bearing between the carrier and the moving platform, wherein the moving platform is rotatable in a plane substantially parallel to a major plane of the carrier in an oscillatory manner relative to the carrier and about an axis of rotation. A controllable motor controls movement of the moving platform about the center of rotation of the at least one bearing relative to the carrier, the motor including an oscillating post that engages with a guide track on the moving platform to cause oscillatory movement of the moving platform.
Bed sheet with an integrated body positioner
Implementations of a bed sheet with an integrated body positioner are provided. In some implementations, the bed sheet may comprise a sheet having an integrated body positioner, the body positioner may comprise a head portion, a torso portion, a first arm portion, a second arm portion, a first leg portion, a second leg portion, or any combination thereof. In some implementations, one or more portions of the integrated body positioner may include a removable pillow, or padding, that is positioned therein. In some implementations, the integrated body positioner may include an elevating foot portion instead of the leg portions. The elevating foot portion may be configured to act as a pillow for a user's feet and/or ankles. In some implementations, the bed sheet with an integrated body positioner may be configured so that it can be secured on a mattress, an infant changing pad, and/or any other suitable structure.
INFANT SLEEP GARMENT
A sleep garment for an infant may include an enclosure for enclosing the infant. The enclosure may include one or more accommodation features such as a support element to position under the legs of the infant to elevate the feet, a weight element to position over the infant, or both.
PILLOW FOR TREATING AND PREVENTING PLAGIOCEPHALY
In general, example embodiments are drawn to a pillow having a body with a neck support and at least one arm extending from a first end of the neck support to a second end of the neck support, the at least one arm having forming a center void. In example embodiments, a cover may be provided over or around the body.
Infant Play Gym
An infant play gym has a mat with a top surface and a bottom surface that each extends outwardly to an outer perimeter. The infant play gym further has a plurality of support members extending upwardly from and over the mat, wherein the plurality of support members are attached to the mat via fasteners. A protective cover sheet is positioned over the plurality of support members, wherein the protective cover sheet is at least partially translucent and at least partially transparent.
