INFANT SUFFOCATION PREVENTION APPARATUS
Apparatus (10) preventing suffocation of an infant (I) by a person (A) rolling over on top of the infant (I) when the infant is lying on a bed (B), rug, or floor. In one embodiment, a frame (12) affixed to the bed includes a vertical section (14) extending above the bed on one side of the bed and a horizontally extending section (16) projecting over the top of the bed from the side of the bed. A sleeve (20) connected to the horizontally extending section is sized to accommodate an arm (R) of a person laying on the bed next to the infant and keep the arm in its position above the bed so to prevent the person from moving over or on top of the infant and inadvertently smothering or suffocating the infant, thus allowing the infant to lay safe on the bed.
Configurable Multipurpose Mat Assembly
A configurable multipurpose mat assembly is described. The configurable multipurpose mat assembly typically comprises a center area for receiving a baby, and two barriers on opposite sides of the center area for confining a baby there between. Variations of the configurable multipurpose mat assembly may include compressible or inflatable components that permit the mat assembly to be compressed or rolled without disassembly. In other variations, the configurable multipurpose mat assembly may include liquid impervious sheaths to provide a protective barrier between the components of the mat assembly and undesirable liquids.
INFANT BED HAVING SUDDEN DEATH PREVENTION FUNCTION
The preset invention proposes an infant bed having a sudden death prevention function, comprising: a bed body having a grating structure capable of ventilation; a mattress body comprising an air layer having excellent air permeability; and a bed body support stand having an air layer formed beneath the bed body such that air can flow through the bottom thereof, wherein air can still flow even when an infant who has been sleeping with the back down in a supine position turns the body into a prone position with the nose down, thereby fundamentally preventing sudden infant death due to suffocation.
Infant Holder
Disclosed herein is an infant holder to safely secure, hold, and properly support a relatively small or premature infant during a feeding session using a substantially circular or oval base, releasibly fastening straps to secure the infant, adjustable bolsters to support the infant, and straps or a pass-through tube to secure the holder to a caregiver's arm or hand.
Child bed fall blocking system
A Child Bed Fall Blocking System is an apparatus that offers safety barriers to prevent small children from falling out of a child's or adult's bed by providing full protection on all 3 exposed sides of the bed. The barriers can be raised and lowered easily to provide easy ingress and egress for adults, and can be collapsed and hidden when not in use. The Child Bed Fall Blocking System that can be installed easily, consists of 4 base plates connected with 3 wires and 2 separate reinforcing wires along the headboard side of the bed, a set of 2 tabs attached to each base plate, 6 vertical height-adjustable telescopic pole sets attached to the base plates, 3 sets of length-adjustable tube sets connecting the inner telescopic poles with hinges, 6 lock systems, and 3 adjustable fabric panels, each secured by a flat bar on the bottom of the panel.
Vibrating and Sound Baby Mat
A vibrating and sound baby mat is an apparatus that effectively comforts an infant. The apparatus includes a plurality of covers, a reinforcing pad, a recorder, a speaker, a vibrating unit, a control panel, and a processing unit. The plurality of covers protects the reinforcing pad, the vibrating unit, and the processing unit from getting damaged. The reinforcing pad upholds and supports an infant. The recorder detects a sound, preferably a heartbeat, and the speaker continuously emits the detected sound. Similarly, the vibrating unit emits vibrations based on the detected sound. In order to better represent the sound, the apparatus may further include an electrocardiogram module and a plurality of electrocardiogram sensors. The control panel engages and controls the recorder, the speaker, the vibrating unit, and the electrocardiogram module. The processing unit allows the recorder, the speaker, the vibrating unit, and the electrocardiogram module to communicate with each other.
BABY FOOT SUPPORT
A baby foot support is used to assist in changing a baby's diaper. The device can be easily folded, telescoped and/or disassembled for transport, for example in a diaper bag. A base includes a suction cup for removably attaching the base to a flat surface. A support arm has a first end that connects to the base and a second end that connects to a pair of tethers. A pair of cuffs connected to the tethers removable attach around the ankles of a baby to support the baby's feet to assist on changing the baby's diaper. Several types of support arms are described including a two-part arm with a sliding connection between the arms, a telescoping arm, and an articulating arm. A range of fasteners may be utilized, such as captured or removable wing bolts.
CRIB SHIELD SYSTEM AND OTHER BREATHABLE APPARATUS
An apparatus and method for making same utilizing a breathable mesh material having a reduced suffocation resistance level for infant and toddler use. The breathable mesh material includes an inner and outer fabric that includes larger openings on the front substructure than on the back substructure and a pile substructure is integrated and extends between the front and back substructures allowing air to substantially move effectively therethrough.
INTERACTIVE DEVICE FOR OBJECT, PLAYPEN ENCLOSURE FOR CHILD, AND CRIB
An interactive device for an object, a playpen enclosure for child, and a crib are provided in the embodiments of the disclosure, which relate to the technical field of an electronic apparatus. A principle technical solution in embodiments of the disclosure lies in an interactive device for an object, including: an acquisition module, which is configured to track actions of the predetermined object and to extract status information of the actions in real-time; a processing module, which is arranged to be connected to the acquisition module, and configured to determine whether at least one threshold condition is met as a function of the status information, and to generate a control signal corresponding to the at least one threshold condition in the condition that the threshold condition is met; and an interactive module, which is arranged to be connected to the processing module, and configured to receive the control signal and to carry out a corresponding interactive operation depending on the control signal so as to interact with the object. Embodiments of the disclosure are mainly intended for communication and interaction with children.
ANTI-SIDS INFANT CRIB
An anti-SIDS infant crib, comprising: a crib (10); a processor (20); one or more SIDS-related sensors (38), installed at the crib's side, and being in communication with the processor (20); an elastic and adjustable belt (30) surrounding an infant in the crib, for preventing the infant from turning upside-down while allowing a limited ability to the infant to turn over; wherein the belt hosting one or more sensors that come in contact with an infant body or leotard; wherein the processor being adapted to identify an SIDS alerting state by a combination and threshold of the sensors (38); a remote control (50), in wireless communication (60) with the processor (20), the remote control being adapted for monitoring an operation of the processor (20), and alerting a user upon identifying an alerting state by the processor; thereby providing to a parent SIDS-control and alerts of an infant lying in the crib.
