An anchor assembly for hanging an object on a wall includes a first anchor component and a second anchor component. The first anchor component includes a base having front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides, and at least one wall penetrating retainer extending from the base and having a wall penetrating extent that protrudes rearwardly of the base and has a downwardly curved configuration. The second anchor component includes a base having front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides, at least one wall penetrating retainer extending from the base of the second anchor component and having a wall penetrating extent that protrudes rearwardly of the base of the second anchor component and has a curved configuration. The second anchor component is pivotably associated with the first anchor component for movement between an anchoring orientation and a non-anchoring orientation.

An anchor assembly for hanging an object on a wall includes a first anchor component and a second anchor component. The first anchor component includes a base having front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides, and at least one wall penetrating retainer extending from the base and having a wall penetrating extent that protrudes rearwardly of the base and has a downwardly curved configuration. A frame hanging level having a least one (1) horizontal and one (1) vertical spirit level incorporates positioning assemblies to aid in the marking of a vertical surface in the mounting of a wall decoration. The positionable assemblies depend within an open space and are capable of being manipulated to and secured in a desired position relative to the level.

This invention provides a hanger for supporting pictures, mirrors or other objects on a wall. Specifically, this invention allows a person to nail the hanger to the wall and if relatively minor adjustments are needed, to remove a screw cap on the nail, remove the hanger and reattach the hanger to the wall using another hole on the hanger that best approximates the desired position, then put the cap back on the nail and screw the cap tight. In another embodiment, spacers can be attached to the hanger so that additional hangers can form a larger hanger and then placed back on the wall through the nail already in place that best approximates the position. Additional nails can then be inserted into some of the other hanger's holes to provide additional support, strength and leveling.

The hanging member extends from the utility surface of the fastening body for allowing the object to be hung on the hanging member. The attaching pin extends from the attachment surface of the fastening body. The attaching pin is arranged to detachably penetrate into the wall for detachably attaching the object on the wall.

A wall fastener for fastening an object to a wall includes a fastening body, a hanging member and an attaching pin. The fastening body has a utility surface and an attachment surface. The hanging member extends from the utility surface of the fastening body for allowing the object to be hung on the hanging member. The attaching pin extends from the attachment surface of the fastening body. The attaching pin is arranged to detachably penetrate into the wall for detachably attaching the object on the wall.

A system for hanging an object (e.g., picture frame) at a desired location on a wall without measurements includes planar marking strips, each with an elongate body attached to a proximal head. The marking strips are removably attached to a mounting surface of the object so that the proximal head protrudes from an edge of the object and the elongate body aligns with a mounting hook, recess or opening on the mounting surface of the object. Once the desired mounting location of the object on the wall surface is determined, the user presses the proximal head of the marking strip against the wall surface and withdraws the object relative to the marking strip, leaving the marking strips attached to the wall surface. The distal end of the elongate body indicates the location for insertion of a fastener to mount the object at the desired mounting location.

A hanging apparatus that includes a frame apparatus that supports a display item and a bracket coupled thereto. The bracket may include a body portion and a mounting portion, the mounting portion facilitating coupling of the bracket to the frame apparatus. The body portion may include a peripheral edge including first, second, and third edge portions. There may be a first slot extending from the third edge portion towards the second edge portion and a second slot extending form the third edge portion towards the first edge portion. Furthermore, there may be an aperture extending through the body portion that includes an entry section, first nesting section, and a second nesting section. The first slot and the first nesting section may be aligned along a first axis and the second slot and the second nesting section may be aligned along a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis.
