When in use, the sleeping unit is tensioned by a tensioning device having a tensioning unit directly or indirectly via the support structure such that the sleeping unit forms a body-accommodating space that is kept in shape by the tensioning device.

MULTI-LAYERED, THERMALLY INSULATING COVERING ENVELOPE

A thermally insulating single or multipart multilayer covering jacket for covering a person, includes a body side and an outer side. The covering jacket contains a transfer layer, a blocking layer, and a storage layer arranged between the transfer layer and the blocking layer. The transfer layer is arranged so as to face the body side and is water-permeable in the direction of the storage layer and water-impermeable in the direction away from the storage layer. The blocking layer is arranged so as to face the outer side and is water-impermeable in the direction away from the storage layer, and the blocking layer forms an intermediate space for storing condensed water which is formed from the steam transferred into the storage layer through the transfer layer.

Sleeping pad with dual coated bottom sheet and central layer

An inflatable sleeping pad or air mattress comprises an inflatable pad having a top layer and a bottom layer. At least one middle layer is disposed parallel to the top and bottom layers, and supported between the top layer and the bottom layer by a plurality of support baffles, wherein a first plurality of support baffles is disposed between the at least one middle layer and the top layer, and a second plurality of support baffles disposed between the at least middle one layer and the bottom layer. The sleeping pad further comprises an air inlet/outlet valve disposed on at least one of the inflatable pad top or bottom layers.

HAMMOCK

A fabric hammock is provided with a unique pocket which extends downwardly proximate one end of the hammock. The pocket is formed by downward extending side portions and an end portion and serves as an area to receive the user's feet when resting in the hammock. To aid in the formation and effectiveness of the pocket, the fabric hammock portion may be more narrow proximate the pocket than the remained of the hammock. The pocket accommodates the user's feet and legs and thus the user's feet and legs will be lower than the user's head and upper body portion providing for a much more comfortable position for the user to sleep, rest or socialize. The pocket also serves to prevent the hammock from folding inward up around the user thus, the hammock remains generally flat providing a more comfortable resting place for the user.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN AIR FILLED STRUCTURE
20170028615 · 2017-02-02 ·

A method for manufacturing an air-filled structure allows for ease of manufacturing utilizing plastic/vinyl/TPU laminated/urethane coated type top and bottom exterior layers as well as an internal baffle, all of which can be heat or chemically bonded together. Most if not all of the bonds or welds required to be made can be created at the same time in a high volume manufacturing step by providing one or more internal layer(s) each with a plurality of openings or cutouts which provide an opening or window through which the internal structure/baffle can be attached directly to the top and bottom layers of the air-filled structure.
