An inflatable body pillow for supporting a body of a user. The inflatable body pillow comprises a pair of pillow members disposed within a sleeve. Each of the pair of pillow members comprises a flexible housing having an enclosed interior volume, a valve in fluid communication with the enclosed interior volume of the housing, wherein the valve receives air therethrough, and a fastener disposed on an outer surface thereof. Each housing of the pair of pillow members is constructed of a non-permeable material that secures air therein. The pair of pillow members removably secure to each other via the fastener disposed on the outer surface. The sleeve includes a pair of opposing open ends, wherein the sleeve slidably receives the pair of pillow members. In one embodiment, the fastener disposed on each housing comprises hook and loop material.

A motion pillow according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a body, a motion system, a connector, and a valve. The body includes a plurality of airbags provided therein. The motion system includes a pump allowing air to enter and exit the airbags, a sensor measuring air pressures of the airbags, a sound receiver receiving sound from around the body, and a controller controlling operating mode in accordance with measurements of the sensor. The connector connects the airbags and the motion system. The valve opens and closes the connector. When at least one airbag among the plurality of airbags is pressed and air is introduced to the sensor through the connector, the controller is configured to switch the operating mode from standby mode to active mode. Significantly improved convenience and satisfaction of sleep are provided to users.

STATIC EQUILIBRIUM ADJUSTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20240298823 · 2024-09-12 ·

A static equilibrium adjusting system includes a bladder (10) and a regulation valve (20). An elastic restoration device (11) is arranged in the bladder (10) to support an external pressing force. The regulation valve (20) is in communication with the bladder (10) to provide an adjustable reverse-resisting force to resist an air pressure generated, in a direction toward the regulation valve (20), by the bladder (10). Through selection of a size of the interior space of the bladder (10) and a density and an elastic property of the elastic restoration device (11), a rebounding force is generated to cooperate with the reverse-resisting force generated by the regulation valve (20) to provide a supporting force to the bladder (10), so that an effect of static equilibrium is achieved among the external pressing force, the bladder (10), and the regulation valve (20).

Automated sleep assistant

Systems, devices, and methods are provided for an automated sleep assistant. An automated sleep assistant may comprise an audio input device for capturing sounds and utterances made by a user while sleeping. Audio data may be collected and analyzed to identify sleep patterns indicative of an adverse sleep-related condition such as Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). A pillow comprising a plurality of regions with one or more sensors, one or more inflatable air bladders, and one or more haptic feedback devices may be utilized. A base unit device physically connected to the pillow may determine one or more external forces that mitigate the adverse sleep-related condition and cause the pillow to apply the one or more external forces to the user, for example, by using a pump to inflate an air bladder to help the user's head lift or tip to a specific angle that opens his or her airway.
