The headrest provides support for the face of the user. The headrest incorporates passages that allow for breathing while lying face down. The headrest is suitable for domestic and medical uses. The headrest comprises a base, a first pad, and a second pad. The first pad and the second pad are mounted on the base.
Pillow with gusset of open cell construction
A pillow is provided herein which includes a cover having opposing first and second panels. A gusset perimetrically bounds, and joins, the first and second panels. The gusset is formed of an open cell construction. Compliant fill material is disposed within the cover. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a pillow is provided allowing for lateral ventilation between opposing panels. This permits a cooling effect while a user is resting or sleeping.
PILLOW WITH COOLING SYSTEM
A bed has a mattress. A first wireless charging array is positioned on a top side of the mattress nearer a head of the mattress. A pillow is configured to be positioned atop the first wireless charging array. The pillow includes a second wireless charging array located on an underside of a pillow. The second wireless charging array is configured to receive energy from the first wireless charging array. A companion device is configured to use the energy. An energy storage device is within the pillow. The energy storage device is configured to store charge received by the first wireless charging array. The energy storage device is configured to supply power to the companion device.
Actively Cooled Pillow
A pillow uses a fan assembly in the pillow to cool the sleeping surface of the pillow. The fan assembly uses two fans to move ambient air through a middle layer of reticulated foam and then through air passages extending through at least one layer of foam. A bottom piece of foam is either semi-permeable or impermeable to airflow so that most, if not all, of the air moved by the fans exits the top of the pillow to cool the pillow. A chargeable power source powers the fans via a circuit board which may have an LED light to indicate the status of the power source.
SUPPORT PILLOW
A support pillow is disclosed. The support pillow may include an exterior support structure. The exterior support apparatus may include an exterior surface, wherein the exterior surface defines a perimeter of the support pillow. The exterior support apparatus may include an inner surface, wherein the inner surface is located concentrically within the exterior surface. The exterior support apparatus may include an upper surface. The exterior support apparatus may include a lower surface, wherein the upper surface and the lower surface are located opposite of each other, wherein the exterior surface, the inner surface, the upper surface, and the lower surface are joined to form a solid body of the exterior support structure. The support pillow may include an interior hole, wherein at least a portion of at least one of the upper surface or the lower surface is tapered inwardly towards the interior hole.
Textile with Cooling Technology Applied Thereto and Methods Thereof
A textile may have a cooling material which may contain a phase change material or other suitable materials or combinations thereof to be applied thereto. Such a material will thereby resisting an increase in temperature during use. The textile may be fashioned into a variety of objects including but not limited to pillows, mattresses, mattress toppers, etc. Further contained herein are methods of applying the cooling material and methods of making objects containing the cooling material.
Support material having an hourglass shape
A support material having an hourglass shape reduces the cost of manufacturing as well as increasing comfort and air circulation. The support material includes a primary end having a primary diameter located opposite a secondary end having a secondary diameter. A substantially central portion of the support material has a tertiary diameter being a size less than the primary and secondary diameters. Additional improvements include an improved outer wall surface of the support material having at least one recess. The at least one recess can retain a substance such as a cooling gel.
Gel molded pillow and method of producing the same
A pillow is provided that includes a foam core and a gel insert molded to each side of the foam core. Methods of producing a pillow are further provided and include a step of providing a foam molding system having a top mold defining a plurality of air ports and a bottom mold defining a plurality of air ports. A vacuum is applied to the plurality of air ports in both the top mold and bottom mold, and a gel insert is then positioned against each of the plurality of air ports. A foam precursor is subsequently dispensed into the bottom mold atop the gel insert, and the top mold is secured to the bottom mold. The foam precursor then expands within the foam molding system and bonds with the two gel inserts to produce a pillow having a gel insert molded to each side of the pillow.
PILLOW
An improved pillow structured and arranged to play music, including the comfort of memory foam, and the cooling capabilities of cooling gel while having an integrated fan.
