Latex foam pillow
A pillow is provided that includes a latex foam to provide comfort and support to the body of a user. The pillow includes a latex foam layer connected to at least one additional foam component. An internal foam layer is also included in the pillow, with the latex foam layer and the additional foam component disposed about the internal foam layer.
PORTABLE HEAD SUPPORT
A portable head support includes an upper portion having a top surface and a lower portion having a bottom surface. The top surface includes a first lobe portion at one end, a second lobe portion at an opposite end, and an intermediate or shaft portion separating the first and second lobe portions. The intermediate or shaft portion has a height, H.sub.I, and a length, L.sub.I, with respect to the bottom surface and the first and second lobe portions each have a height, H.sub.2, and a length, L.sub.L with respect to the bottom surface. The height, H.sub.1, and the length, L.sub.I, of the intermediate or shaft portion are less than the height, H.sub.L, and the length, L.sub.L, of the first and second lobe portions. The bottom surface includes a groove for allowing the portable head support to be mounted onto an object.
PILLOW NAPKIN DISPENSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A dispenser for pillow napkins is provided that includes a carton having a bottom panel, opposite left and right panels extending vertically from the bottom panel, opposite front and back panels positioned between the left and right panels and extending vertically from the bottom panel, and a top panel extending parallel to the bottom panel. Left and right supports are positioned within a cavity of the carton. A plurality of pillow napkins are wound about a spool. The spool is positioned in the cavity such that the spool rotatably engages the left and right supports and the pillow napkins are spaced apart from the top and bottom panels. Methods of use are provided.
Systems and methods in support of bedding selection at a retail location
In one aspect, a system and method are provided herein in support of selecting bedding. The system includes a plurality of differently configured pillows; and, a plurality of pillow cover napkins each configured to rest upon one of the pillows in acting as a cleanliness barrier for a person's head resting on the pillow. Advantageously, the system allows for a user to sample various bedding, including mattresses and/or pillows, in a hygienic manner. In particular, the system allows for a user to select a pillow from the differently configured pillows which is suited to one's preferences to use in sampling various mattresses. The napkin is placed by the user atop the selected pillow in sampling the mattresses. The napkin acts as a cleanliness barrier between the user's head and the sampled bedding. A person's comfort level in sampling mattresses and/or pillows may be heightened in this manner.
Pillow with gusset and open cell construction
A pillow is provided herein which includes a cover having opposing first and second panels. A gusset perimetrically bounds, and joins, the first and second panels. The gusset is formed of an open cell construction. Compliant fill material is disposed within the cover. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a pillow is provided allowing for lateral ventilation between opposing panels. This permits a cooling effect while a user is resting or sleeping.
VENTILATED PILLOW
This present disclosure may relate to a pillow configured to receive a person in a face down position, the pillow including a receiving portion and one or more pathways. The receiving portion and pathways may be configured to deliver air to a user and to receive exhaled air from a user. The pillow may also include a chamber which may connect the receiving portion and pathways and one or more valves which may facilitate air exchange between the chamber and the pathways.
Pillow napkin dispensing system and method
A dispenser for pillow napkins is provided that includes a carton having a bottom panel, opposite left and right panels extending vertically from the bottom panel, opposite front and back panels positioned between the left and right panels and extending vertically from the bottom panel, and a top panel extending parallel to the bottom panel. Left and right supports are positioned within a cavity of the carton. A plurality of pillow napkins are wound about a spool. The spool is positioned in the cavity such that the spool rotatably engages the left and right supports and the pillow napkins are spaced apart from the top and bottom panels. Methods of use are provided.
Portable cushioned support
A support comprising a first pillow having a first pillow body comprising a first arm and a second arm, a second pillow comprising a third arm and a fourth arm, the first and third arms being attached to a first joint, and the second and forth arms being attached to a second joint wherein the first and second pillows can be rotated about the joints and optionally the joints are extendable to allow the relative angle and separation of the pillows to be varied. The support provides a user with myriad options for positioning the pillows and supporting their upper body, particularly during long periods of sitting upright, such as during travel in an aircraft or bus.
Techniques for lying prone comfortably
New systems, devices and methods for aiding comfort during rest and relaxation while lying in a prone position are provided, including a new type of pillow aiding human users in lying in the prone position (a prone lying enhancement pillow). A generally U-shaped prone lying enhancement pillow is provided, including a perimetric fitment to a human user's face, in which aspects of the pillow hugs the outer contours of the human face. In some embodiments, such an aspect includes a surface of the pillow facing the user's forehead. Such a surface includes a concave area of the pillow that touches and interfaces differently with specific contours of the human face, and includes an angled and contoured bevel. Such a surface may touch and interface with a majority of the user's forehead and/or parts of the sides of the face, providing less pressure on other areas of the face.
TRAVEL PILLOW ASSEMBLY
A travel pillow assembly can include a belt assembly, a neck pillow, and first and second suspension member assemblies. The belt assembly can include a first elongate member and a first buckle member. The belt assembly is operable to fixedly and releasibly surround a plurality of perimeters of different size. The neck pillow can extend a pillow length from a first end, through a midpoint position, and to a second end. The first and second suspension member assemblies can each be operatively connected to the first elongate member and extend a respective suspension member length. Each can releasibly form a pillow engagement loop to encircle the neck pillow and can have a second buckle member to maintain the suspension member in a plurality of orientations, a distance between the second buckle member and the pillow engagement loop being adjustable.
