Face Mask for Use in a Prone Position
New systems, devices and methods for applying treatments and aiding in comfort are provided, including a new type of face mask that also serves as a pillow (a mask/pillow), aiding human users in lying in the prone position (serving as a prone lying enhancement pillow). A horseshoe-shaped mask/pillow is provided, including a perimetric fitment to a human user's face. A first surface of the mask/pillow is provided, on a side of the mask facing a user's forehead, as well as one or more treatment and pressure-applying inserts, which may be reversibly fastened and unfastened in place. A second, floor-facing surface, provided on the opposite side of the mask/pillow, interfaces with a flat ground, floor or other surface to generate pressure to the user's face. The inserts may include a handle section and an applicator section comprising treatment materials for treating the user's skin and face.
Proning frame for a patient bed
A head rest accessory for coupling to a frame member at a head end of a pivotable torso support section of a hospital bed is provided. A frame is configured to couple to the frame member. A head rest mount is coupled to the frame and is repositionable along the frame. A head rest is coupled to the head rest mount and includes a face rest shell. A first angle sensor is positioned along a side of the face rest shell. A second angle sensor is positioned on a head end of the face rest shell.
Eye Pressure Relief Pillow
A pillow for eye pressure relief configured with a support portion and a relief portion. The support portion thicker than the relief portion. The support portion configured to support the forehead and lower face while the relief portion configured to provide less pressure and support to the facial orbital eye area.
Therapeutic mattress
The present invention discloses a therapeutic mattress. The mattress comprises a mattress body comprising a head of bed section and a foot of bed section, one or more apertures configured at the mattress body and a support frame having a support surface disposed within each aperture. The support frame comprises an air passage area therethrough. The mattress further comprises a first pillow removably disposed above the support surface and within the aperture. The first pillow has a C-shaped configuration. The first pillow is configured to expose a user's head to the air passage area while lying on the mattress facing downwards and enables the user to comfortably rest.
PILLOW WITH GUSSET HAVING MULTIPLE POROSITY PORTS
A pillow is provided that includes a first panel having an edge defining a perimeter. A second panel has an edge defining a perimeter. A gusset joins the first and second panels. The gusset has a first porosity. The gusset includes a plurality of ports. The ports each have a second porosity that is greater than the first porosity.
Face hammock
Generally, a face hammock, and a method of making and using a face hammock to support the head of an individual. Embodiments can include a first support member disposed in opposed spaced apart relation to a second support member and one or more flexible members connected by the respective flexible member ends to the first support member and the second support member can be positioned to supportingly engage the head of an individual.
Anti-Wrinkle Pillow Attachment
An anti-wrinkle pillow attachment configured to be placed on a pillow is disclosed. In one embodiment, the device is a pillowcase comprising pockets configured to receive foam inserts for adjustable cranial and cervical support. Lateral pockets accept inserts that elevate the head above the neck to reduce facial puffiness, support cervical curvature, and minimize wrinkle formation. Angled top pockets elevate the face to alleviate lymphatic compression and restore drainage. A lower central pocket supports the neck using contoured pillows to promote spinal alignment. This structure converts a standard pillow into an anti-aging sleep surface that enhances comfort, supports posture, and reduces sleep-induced facial pressure.
HEAD SUPPORT CUSHION
Proposed is a head support cushion. In order to achieve posture correction through stretching using gravity as the chin of a user in the prone position may be pulled and the neck may be maintained in a relaxed state, the head support cushion includes a support cushion member configured to form a horseshoe shape when seen in a plan view and support the facial edges and chin of the user in the prone position, and a height adjustment member provided below the support cushion member to position the support cushion member at a predetermined height so that the user's head seated on the support cushion member is positioned above the feet, and configured to arrange the support cushion member slanted downward toward the front, which is the direction toward which the head of the user in the prone position faces.
Arm pillow
A pillow assembly for supporting objects on a user's arm without impeding blood circulation through the arm includes a main body comprising a resiliently compressible material. Rigid blocks are coupled to a top side of the main body, and inserts are mounted atop the rigid blocks. The main body is bent to surround the arm with the inserts. Loads may be exerted on the pillow assembly through the main body, rigid blocks, and inserts while the pillow assembly is worn by the arm to support the loads on the arm without limiting blood flow.
Pillow with gusset and open cell construction
A pillow is provided herein which includes a cover having opposing first and second panels. A gusset perimetrically bounds, and joins, the first and second panels. The gusset is formed of an open cell construction. Compliant fill material is disposed within the cover. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a pillow is provided allowing for lateral ventilation between opposing panels. This permits a cooling effect while a user is resting or sleeping.
