A beverage brewer having a cartridge for placement of a disposable single use filter basket filled with beverage grounds. The filter basket includes a plastic frame having a bottom, a plurality of ribs, and a top rim that define a plurality of openings covered by a non-woven or woven plastic filter material. The basket filled with beverage grounds is enclosed with a film cover. The inlet probe of the brewer pierces the cover and admits a heated liquid into the beverage grounds, and creates a brewed beverage that flows through the filter material and exits an opening in a bottom portion of the cartridge.
COMBINED VESSEL LID AND TEA BAG RECEPTACLE AND METHOD OF USING
A tableware tea piece (10, 11, 12) intended to be used in conjunction with a drinking cup (60, 6) or teapot (63) vessel (60), includes first and second principal surfaces (1) and a well (8) defined by the second surface (1, 2, 95). It further includes a perimeter recess (40), and is configured and arranged (2) to be placed to act as a lid on a vessel (60) containing hot water (90) with the first surface (1, 2, 95) uppermost without slipping sideways off the vessel (60) and forming an aperture in side (1, 2) the rim (62) of the vessel (60). The tea piece (10, 11, 12) may be inverted and placed on a horizontal surface (1, 2, 95) with the second principal surface (1, 2, 95) uppermost and the first principal surface (1, 2, 95) supporting the piece (10) after inversion, to act as a receptacle for a used tea bag (80, 84), such that tea (89) which emanates from the used tea bag (80, 84) is contained on the second principal surface (1, 2, 95) within the well (8) and does not spill onto the horizontal surface (1, 2, 95).
USER INTERFACE FOR LIQUID CONTAINER
A container, such as a beverage container or a mug, may include electronics to run applications. In some examples, the container may include a display for visually displaying icons, menus, data, and other elements. In some examples, the container may include one or more sensors, such as touch sensitivity built into the display or a separate touch-sensitive panel, and/or a motion sensor. In some examples, the container may use the one or more sensors to receive input from a user to run interactive applications on the display. In some examples, the container may recognize particular forms of input, such as user swipes in specified directions and/or for specified durations on the touch-sensitive display, and/or motion of the container in specified directions to execute specified commands for the applications. The recognized input may form a user interface for the user.

Crack sealer product and method
A product and method for sealing cracks in pavements, roofs, or the like utilizes a can containing a tar sealant. The tar sealant is a solid at room temperature and assumes a fluid state pourable from the can when the tar sealant is heated in the can to a temperature above the melting temperature of the tar sealant. A spout and handle that can withstand the heat are fitted to the can for pouring the melted tar sealant in a fluid state from the can into a crack to be sealed.
KETTLE HAVING CAPABILITY OF PREVENTING OVERFLOW OF BOILED WATER
A kettle has a container and a guiding board. The container has a body. The body has an upper segment, a lower segment, and a through hole defined in the lower segment and having a top edge and a bottom edge. The guiding board is attached securely to an inner surface of the lower segment of the body, covers the through hole, and has a guiding segment. The guiding segment is attached securely to the inner surface of the lower segment of the body at a position below the bottom edge of the through hole, is curved in cross section, extends upward and toward the central line of the body, is free from forming a through bore, and has a top edge higher than the bottom edge of the through hole and lower than the top edge of the through hole.
Beverage brewing pot and beverage brewing method using same
A beverage brewing pot and a beverage brewing method using the same. The brewing pot includes a first pot liner, a second pot liner, a water-air pump and a controller. A brewing chamber is arranged between the first pot liner and the second pot liner. The first pot liner, the second pot liner and the brewing chamber are in communication. At least the first pot liner is sealed during operation. A first water-level sensor is provided at the top of the first pot liner, and a second water-level sensor is provided at the top of the second pot liner. The controller controls the water-air pump to feed air to the first pot liner to direct the water to flow into the second pot liner. The controller controls the water-air pump to operate reversely, such that the water in the second pot liner is pumped back to the first pot liner.
