Collapsible Safety Drinking Straw
A disposable or reusable collapsible safety drinking straw consisting of a plurality of tubular segments fabricated to nest within one another with a friction fitting wherein the male end of each segment is dimensioned with an opening whose edge is rounded outwardly to a curved/rolled edge and the female end of each segment is dimensioned correspondingly with an opening whose edge is rounded inwardly to a curved/rolled edge. The male and female ends of each tubular segment are designed by dimensioning and material selection such that the tubular segments join together in a liquid-tight junction with other segments so as to be extendable to different lengths, collapsible, packable, and sterilizable, wherein the junction improves safety by separating when a designed amount of force is applied (yield and/or break strength). Tubular segments can be made from any suitable material such as food grade plastic, biodegradable matter, metal, glass, ceramic, composites, concrete, nano-material, and polymers.
RECYCLABLE OR REUSABLE STRAW IN CONTAINER LID ASSEMBLY
A recyclable or reusable assembly is described. The assembly includes a lid having a first side disposed opposite a second side that engages an opening of a container and a hole extending through a width of the lid. A corrugated flex pipe configured straw fully extendable for use of the assembly is configured to collapse on itself in a telescoping movement and has a first and a second portion. A second side of the first portion engages the hole on the first side of the lid and a second side of the second portion engages the hole on the second side of the lid. A first sealing plug is affixed to the first side of the first portion of the straw and a second sealing plug is affixed to the first side of the second portion of the straw to seal an inside of the straw.
BUILDABLE DRINKING STRAW
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are presented for a buildable drinking straw. A segment of a drinking straw is hollow. A segment has a narrow end and a wider end. A wider end of a segment of a drinking straw is opposite a narrow end of the segment of the drinking straw and has a wider diameter than the narrow end of the segment of the drinking straw so that the segment of the drinking straw tapers in diameter from the wider end to the narrow end of the segment of the drinking straw.
IMPROVEMENTS TO FLEXIBLE STRAW WITH CONTROL MEANS FOR USE WITH A DRINKING VESSEL
A non-spill drinking cup system includes a container; a lid assembly that is removably attachable to the container, comprising an aperture; and a drinking tube, wherein the drinking tube extends through the aperture, the drinking tube including an open end, a closed end, and a side wall; and a drinking valve, wherein the drinking valve includes at least one elongate slit disposed within the side wall.
Self-cleaning suction device
A self-cleaning suction device has a user's suction end that self-sanitizes externally and internally before and after use, as well as self-sanitizes internally during use. A cover opens to reveal the user's suction end within a containment unit. As the cover opens, the suction end travels from a lower chamber, proceeds through a middle chamber of a sanitizing agent, and is presented for use. After suction is complete, the suction end retracts through an upper chamber with, a scraping feature that removes debris from the outer surface of the mouthpiece, and proceeds down through the middle chamber of a sanitizing agent and a scraping feature that removes debris and the sanitizing agent from the outer surface of the user's suction end. Upon the sealing closure of the cover, the upper and middle chambers are flushed with a sanitizing agent, which is suctioned away along with any collected debris. The user's suction end resides within a lower chamber and can be decontaminated by a UV-C light entering into the lower chamber and/or corresponding chambers. The suction device can also include a liquid-hydration delivery system.
Foldable Drinking Straws, Cleaning Elements, and Related Storage Cases
Foldable drinking straws, cleaning elements, and related storage cases are disclosed. In accordance with a first example, a system for drinking liquids includes a storage case, a reusable drinking straw, and a cleaning element. The storage case has a lid and a base defining an internal cavity that includes a straw storing area and a cleaning element storing area. The reusable drinking straw includes a flexible tube having a passageway, a proximal end, and a distal end. The reusable drinking straw is configured to move from a folded configuration to an extended configuration based on an elasticity of the flexible tube. The cleaning element includes a brush and being disposable within the cleaning element storing area and adapted to clean the passageway of the flexible tube.
Reusable foldable drinking straw in storage case
A reusable drinking straw that is foldable into a compact configuration for storage and easily transportable in a storage case. The straw comprises a rigid external tube and a flexible internal tubing that is foldable to a compact configuration for storage. In a folded configuration, the reusable straw has a significantly reduced length of approximately one-half to one-fourth of its extended length when in use. The external tube of the straw is preferably formed of multiple rigid segments for supporting the flexible internal tubing in the extended configuration during use as a drinking straw. A simple cleaning device is provided to clean the straw after use. A storage case is provided to store the straw in the folded configuration in a compact form and to store the cleaning device.

EASYMEAL FOOD AND DRINK DISPENSING DEVICE
A novel food dispensing device is described which includes a tubular container for holding the food to be consumed, a pushing apparatus which fits inside of the container like a piston in a cylinder and is moved upward to push the food out of an opening in the container. This will allow handicapped persons, or other users that only have one free hand to feed themselves, since it only requires a single hand to operate. In other embodiments the pushing apparatus is mechanized allowing for feeding oneself with no hands. In alternate embodiments, there is also a beverage container and a tube ending near the container opening, allowing one to drink the beverage from the tube by only having to move his/her head and without the user to physically change positions.
REUSABLE AND WASHABLE STRAW
The invention of this straw is designed to turn the straw into one of reusable tableware, thereby reducing or even avoiding the use of disposable plastic straws, reducing their negative impact on the environment and health, and improving people's lives. Reducing the amount of disposable plastic straws is one of the most effective ways to reduce the damage of plastic waste to the nature. The straw in this invention has a pair of tabs affixed to the edge of the straw opening for easy opening of the straw.
