One coaster device may comprise a top side and a bottom side, and at least one aperture extending from the bottom side to the top side, the aperture having at least one edge configured to engage the fastened cap to remove the cap from the bottle. In some embodiments, the aperture may comprise at least part of a stylized design. Also a method of advertising using a bottle-opening coaster device that includes a bottle-opening edge forming at least part of a stylized design as part of a logo.
Generating insights based on signals from measuring device
A system is described that generates insights on the consumption or usage behavior of a product by analyzing the real-time usage of the product by one or more users. The product is placed on the measuring device for continuous monitoring of the usage of the product by those one or more users in real-time. The measuring device includes a sensor unit that generates weigh data, motion data, location data, and time consumed data of the product and transmits to a computing device. A communication device records the consumption or usage of the product by a user, along with feedback from the user. The computing device generates insights based on the sensed data generated by the measuring device, and recording and feedback at the communication device. The computing device generates reportsone for the user, and one for a merchant of the product and/or similar productsincluding respective insights.
COMBINATION COASTER AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE HOLDER
Some embodiments of the present disclosure include a device for simultaneously holding a personal item and a beverage container. The device may include a coaster portion configured to accommodate the beverage container; and a personal item holder portion attached to the coaster portion, the personal item holder portion configured to accommodate the personal item. The coaster portion and the attached personal item holder portion may be made from a flat blank having a tab at a first end and a slot positioned closer to a second end. The personal item holder portion may be formed by folding up a portion of the flat blank such that the tab is inserted into the slot.
Beverage container coaster
A beverage container coaster with a coaster housing having a substantially horizontal palm portion that contains a beverage area for supporting a beverage container in a substantially level fashion. At least one finger extension is attached to said coaster housing. The finger extension may be removably attachable to the beverage container coaster housing and may also be rotatably attached and moveable and pliable for changing their position and shape. Sound and/or light generators may also be incorporated into the beverage container coaster and used under the control of an electronic controller contained within the coaster housing.
Drink coaster foldable into stand
A drink coaster configured to be converted into a stand. The drink coaster includes a flat sheet of material including a first preferential fold line extending across the flat sheet of material between a first panel of the flat sheet of material and a second panel of the flat sheet of material, and a second preferential fold line extending across the flat sheet of material between the second panel of the flat sheet of material and a third panel of the flat sheet of material. The flat sheet of material is configured to be folded along the first preferential fold line and along the second preferential fold line to convert the drink coaster into a stand for an electronic device.
Placemat and tether system
A placemat and tether system may include a mat body, a plurality of anchors and an elongated tether. The mat body may be characterized by a front side and a back side. Each anchor in the plurality of anchors may include an anchor block on the front side and a suction cup that extends from the back side, opposite the anchor block. The elongated tether may have an anchor end and a retention end, where the anchor end is removably coupleable to one of the plurality of anchors via a compression fit. The elongated tether may have three distinct segmentsa first segment with a circular cross section; a second segment that is removably coupleable, via a compression fit, to the retention end to thereby form a loop; and a third segment with an elastic winding section configured to facilitate stretching along a length of the elongated tether.
FOODWARE SYSTEM HAVING VISUAL STIMULATING, SENSING AND/OR DATA PROCESSING COMPONENTS
An active foodware system includes a dining plate unit that provides visual stimuli by having a power source and a visual stimulating component to provide light emanating from the dining plate unit. Other devices can provide auditory and haptic stimuli, as well as sensing and processing. The dining plate unit can be a single component where the device and circuitry are all contained in the unit and protected from water, or can be two components: an upper translucent dining plate, and an underplate comprising the devices and circuitry for directing light through the upper translucent dining plate.
Tiered Beverage Pong Game System
A tiered beverage pong game system comprising a plurality of tiered platforms, each having at least one of a width and a length that is greater than any higher tiered platform and a plurality of beverage container placement markers located on the tiered platforms, each configured to seat a beverage container thereon, the beverage container placement markers comprising a plurality of colors indicating which direction a beverage container seated on beverage container placement marker is passed when a player bounces a ball into the corresponding beverage container. A top tiered platform comprises a single beverage container placement marker and each tiered platform comprises a greater number of beverage container placement markers than any higher tiered platform. Each side of each tiered platform comprises a different color along a vertical or horizontal side that corresponds with a color among the plurality of colors of the beverage container placement markers.
Dining plate system sensing food characteristics, sending data to the internet, and displaying information on a handheld communication device
A dining plate active foodware system senses food characteristics, such as weight and calories. Removable dining plates are placed on an underplate comprising sensing and wireless communication components. The system may include a camera. Data related to the food is sent to the internet as well as displayed on the visual stimulating component of a handheld communication device, such as a mobile phone. Auditory and haptic stimuli may also be provided.
Electronic coaster for identifying a beverage
The present disclosure discloses an electronic coaster, comprising at least one first imaging sensor to capture at least one first image of a beverage present in a beverage holder placed on the electronic coaster, at least one second imaging sensor to capture at least one second image of ambience around the electronic coaster and a computing unit to receive the at least one first image and the at least one second image, process spectrum of the at least one first and second image for obtaining spectral signature of the beverage and compare the spectral signature of the beverage with predefined spectral signature of plurality of beverages to identify type of the beverage.
