12060290 · 2024-08-13 · ·

A method and system to significantly reduce odor emissions caused by ammonia and other noxious gasses and reduce nitrogen levels in animal husbandry wastewater effectively and efficiently by the use of flush water that has been biochemically conditioned to lower the pH thus reducing the level of un-ionized compounds including NH.sub.3 which can volatilize into the atmosphere and which method and system can also be used to remove ammonia and nitrogen from the wastewater system. The present disclosure includes the use of flush water that has been biochemically conditioned to lower its pH thus sequestering non-ionized ammonia from being released from a liquid as ammonia gas. This disclosure relates to the new use of nitrification for biochemical conditioning of wastewater for use as flush water to reduce atmospheric ammonia emissions.

PUMP FOR IMMERSION WITHIN A FLUID RESERVOIR
20180340541 · 2018-11-29 · ·

A pump is provided for immersion in a fluid reservoir, such as a pit or lagoon containing liquid manure, from a position at an edge of the reservoir. The pump may be adapted for connection to a farm vehicle, such as a tractor, positioned at the edge of the reservoir. The pump comprises an extensible body, fluid conduit and drive means in order that a length of the pump may be varied in order to accommodate a variety of reservoir fluid heights. In addition, the pump may be pivotable relative to at least a portion of a frame in order that the entrance angle may be adjusted. The pump may comprise a housing with an inlet and an outlet, the outlet in fluid communication with the fluid conduit. An impeller within the housing may direct fluid from the inlet to the outlet in the housing.

A new method of disposing of waste for the hog industry is disclosed which avoids use of lagoons. Manure is semi-continuously degritted, anaerobically digested and digested with biomass to produce bio-organic fertilizer and biogas.

NODE TOPOLOGY EMPLOYING RECIRCULATING RING COMMAND AND DATA BUFFERS FOR EXECUTING THREAD SCHEDULING
20180253890 · 2018-09-06 ·

The claimed invention discloses system comprising a plurality of logical nodes comprised in a single or plurality of stages, with defined properties and resources associated with each node, for reducing compute resources, said system further comprising: at least a recirculating ring buffer holding only any one of a control information, input, and, or out data necessary to stream a temporary data between node and, or nodes in an execution graph, thereby reducing size of said recirculating ring buffer; said recirculating ring buffer being sufficiently reduced in size to reside in an on-chip cache, such that any one of the control information, input, and, or out data between node and, or nodes need not be stored in memory; wherein the control information further comprises a command related to invalidating any one of the input and, or out data held in a recirculating ring data buffer, clearing the buffer of tasked data; and wherein a producer is stalled from writing any more control information into a recirculating ring command buffer upon the buffer being full, preventing command buffer over-writing, and thereby reducing compute resources associated with a DRAM memory transaction.
