GLOVE CARTIDGE ASSEMBLIES FOR TOUCHLESS GLOVE APPLICATION SYSTEMS
A glove cartridge belt includes a planar strip of flexible material, and a plurality of glove cartridges secured to the planar strip, each glove cartridge including a fastening system that releasably secures of the plurality of gloves to the planar strip and includes a raised section protruding from the planar strip and defining an internal aperture aligned with a corresponding aperture defined through the planar strip, and a lip protruding laterally outward from a top of the raised section and away from the internal aperture. The raised section and the lip are sized to receive a wrist bead of a glove.
GLOVE CARTIDGE ASSEMBLIES FOR TOUCHLESS GLOVE APPLICATION SYSTEMS
An expandable glove cartridge belt includes a first planar strip of flexible material including one or more first tabs, and a first section of a fastening system for securing a glove to the expandable glove cartridge belt, and a second planar strip of flexible material including one or more second tabs overlapping at least a portion of the one or more first tabs, and a second section of the fastening system positioned laterally adjacent the first section such that a gap is defined therebetween. The expandable glove cartridge belt is transitionable between a relaxed state, where the gap is minimal, and an expanded state, where the first planar strip moves relative to the second planar strip such that a size of the gap grows.
AUTOMATED GLOVE APPLICATION DEVICE
A glove donning system for automated donning of gloves includes a robotic arm equipped with grippers configured to select a glove from a glove supply, a glove donning device configured to receive the glove from the robotic arm and prepare the glove for a user's hand, control system configured to control the robotic arm and the glove donning device, and one or more sensors in communication with the control system to provide real-time feedback and ensure smooth operation of the system.
Glove-dispensing means
A glove-dispensing system (120) may position glove cartridges (50) adjacent to glove portals (150) through which hands (190) can be inserted to don the gloves (20) that have been expanded. The glove-dispensing system (120) may dispense gloves (20) of different sizes in response to a size selection signal.
Glove dispensing systems and methods thereof
A disposable glove apparatus. A cartridge of disposable gloves can be configured and mounted for presentation to a user. A user's hands in proximity to an open portion of a glove causes a gas flow to inflate a pair of gloves. A user can insert hands into the open gloves and remove them, thereby donning gloves in an easy and sanitary manner.
Glove Dispensing Apparatus and Glove Cartridge for use Therewith and Glove Dispensing Method
An apparatus for dispensing a disposable polymeric film and applying it to the hand of a user or an object, in which a stream of air drawn into an enclosed inflation chamber through a constricted opening aligned with an open end of the polymeric film inflates the topmost of a stack of polymeric films in the chamber so that a user can readily insert his hand or an object into the polymeric film. After the user has donned the polymeric film on the hand or an object has been placed in the polymeric film, a wall of the chamber is opened to permit the user to readily withdraw his hand or the object from the chamber while the air flow which originally inflated the top-most polymeric film is disrupted. Upon closure of the chamber wall, the re-established air flow automatically inflates the next lower polymeric film in the polymeric film stack to prepare the next polymeric film for receipt of another hand or object.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPOSABLE GLOVE DISPENSING
A disposable glove dispensing system may allow for a user to efficiently put on a disposable glove without touching the outside of the glove. In various embodiments, a disposable glove may comprise an opening for hand entry having a first opening edge and a second opening edge, a first interconnection point located near the first opening edge, where the first interconnection point attaches the disposable glove to a first adjacent disposable glove, and a second interconnection point located near the second opening edge. The second interconnection point may attach the disposable glove to a second adjacent disposable glove, wherein the disposable glove is positioned between the first adjacent disposable glove and the second adjacent disposable glove. Furthermore, a disposable glove dispensing system may comprise a pack of interconnected disposable gloves, and a glove dispenser comprising two glove hangers for hanging the pack of disposable gloves hang.
Glove dispensing device
The glove dispensing device enables the placement of a glove on a glove retainer. The placement of the glove on the glove retainer at least partially seals the glove with the glove retainer. The user activates a vacuum that draws the glove into a housing of the glove dispensing device. The vacuum inverts the glove thus opening the glove to allow placement of the user's hand within the glove. The user may then remove his hand with the glove from the glove retainer. To assist with removing the glove from the glove retainer, the glove dispensing device provides a release toggle stored within the glove retainer. The user adjusts the release toggle to break the seal of the glove with the glove retainer. Breaking the seal overcomes the pressure applied to the glove from the vacuum. Thus, the glove is applied to the user's hand and ready for use.
Systems and Methods for Automated Garment Application and Defect Detection Along with Automated Garment Removal and Contaminant Analysis
This technology may relate to systems and methods for donning, doffing, testing, containing, and tracking protective garments for use in environments where there is a high likelihood of hazardous contamination to the user, patient, pharmaceutical culture, or the surrounding area or use in any other application where a protective garment is used. The technology disclosed may utilize systems and methods to non-destructively detect pinholes, other defects and variabilities, or the like, in elastomeric gloves at multiple points, including but not limited to the point of manufacture and immediately pre-donning of the glove. The technology disclosed may also relate to removing elastomeric garments, such as gloves, boots, prophylactic devices, in a manner that may prevent the spread of contaminants while preserving the integrity of those contaminants for analysis. It may also analyze those contaminants and place the results of that analysis in databases for contact tracing and other infection control measures.
