WEARABLE PROTECTIVE ARTICLES DONNING SYSTEM
An automated, manual or semi-automated donning system may be used to mechanically don wearable protective articles, such as gloves, without human contact with the outer surface of the wearable article. Thus, the system can be used to render wearable protective articles less capable of transferring disease organisms. In the donning system, a vacuum device can prepare a donning article for use in the donning system by inflating the article using negative pressure to the article's outer surface. Packaging of the wearable protective article may maintain sterility of the article and allow preparation of the article for donning without human contact. In addition, wearable protective articles used in the system may be subject to treatments to destroy potential pathogens. Alternatively, or in addition, a body part of the user may be subject to treatments to destroy potential pathogens during insertion into a wearable protective article prepared for donning by the system.
Method and apparatus for disposable glove dispensing
A disposable glove dispensing system may allow for a user to efficiently put on a disposable glove without touching the outside of the glove. In various embodiments, a disposable glove may comprise an opening for hand entry having a first opening edge and a second opening edge, a first interconnection point located near the first opening edge, where the first interconnection point attaches the disposable glove to a first adjacent disposable glove, and a second interconnection point located near the second opening edge. The second interconnection point may attach the disposable glove to a second adjacent disposable glove, wherein the disposable glove is positioned between the first adjacent disposable glove and the second adjacent disposable glove. Furthermore, a disposable glove dispensing system may comprise a pack of interconnected disposable gloves, and a glove dispenser comprising two glove hangers for hanging the pack of disposable gloves hang.
Glove dispensing systems and methods thereof
A disposable glove apparatus. A cartridge of disposable gloves can be configured and mounted for presentation to a user. A user's hands in proximity to an open portion of a glove causes a gas flow to inflate a pair of gloves. A user can insert hands into the open gloves and remove them, thereby donning gloves in an easy and sanitary manner.
Touchless glove application systems
A glove application system includes a mounting bracket that provides an access aperture, and a glove cartridge assembly mountable to the mounting bracket and including a cartridge belt having a plurality of glove cartridges spaced along the cartridge belt, each glove cartridge having a glove releasably secured to the cartridge belt with a fastening system. The glove cartridge assembly is operable to advance the cartridge belt and sequentially align each glove cartridge with the access aperture. Extending a hand through the access aperture installs a glove from an aligned glove cartridge on the hand and simultaneously releases the glove from the cartridge belt.
Glove Sanitizer
An aspect of some embodiments of the present invention relates to a glove sanitizer, comprising a case, a glove removal apparatus, a ventilation system, and a lighting system. The case has a wall with at least one opening configured for insertion of a gloved hand therethrough. The glove removal apparatus includes a curved pipe and a pump. The curved pipe has suction holes positioned along the pipe, each suction hole being positioned to contact a respective fingertip of the glove when the gloved hand is inserted into the case. The pump is configured to suck air from the curved pipe, thereby suctioning the tips of the glove at the suction holes. The ventilation system directs an air flow at the glove, to dry an outer surface of the glove. The lighting system to emits light inside the case to disinfect an outside of the glove inside the case.
Glove cartridge assemblies for touchless glove application systems
An expandable glove cartridge belt includes a first planar strip of flexible material including one or more first tabs, and a first section of a fastening system for securing a glove to the expandable glove cartridge belt, and a second planar strip of flexible material including one or more second tabs overlapping at least a portion of the one or more first tabs, and a second section of the fastening system positioned laterally adjacent the first section such that a gap is defined therebetween. The expandable glove cartridge belt is transitionable between a relaxed state, where the gap is minimal, and an expanded state, where the first planar strip moves relative to the second planar strip such that a size of the gap grows.
