Illuminated weather resistant rug
An illuminated weather resistant rug for ground or floor covering for decorative or practical purposes suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The rug is illuminated by LED lights that are strung within a waterproof casing and attached to the rug within the hem or interwoven as the weft or warp of the rug. Power for the LEDS is supplied by solar, solar with battery, battery, AC plug, DC plug, 12-volt, or USB. Power source can be a direct or detachable connection to the rug. Power to the LEDS can be modulated by manual switch, automated switch, timer, photovoltaic switch or electrical controller for intensity, sequencing, coloring or pattern of illumination. Primary rug material includes any material that is weather resistant and durable enough for foot traffic or static loads such as patio furniture.
MAT FACILITATING CLEAN UP
A mat may be transitioned into at least three different operational configurations: (1) a substantially flat work surface configuration, for using the mat as a work or play surface; (2) a funnel like collection configuration, for facilizing collection and/or clean-up of articles upon a top of the mat; and (3) a folded configuration, for storage of the mat. The mat may have a removably sealable trapdoor for emptying of articles collected above the trapdoor. The trapdoor may be utilized in the funnel like collection configuration. Straps and/or handles may be used to transition from the substantially flat work surface configuration to the funnel like collection configuration.
Chair mat having rug rolling surface
A chair mat has a top that is a rug or carpet so that the chair mat has the appearance of an area rug. A woven or knitted rug is attached to a mesh material that can carry the loads that are applied to the rug top to hold the rug top from stretching or bunching when casters of a wheeled chair move over the rug top. The chair mat has a rigid layer to which a woven or knitted rug is attached to provide a hard underlying surface over when the wheeled chair may more easily move. The chair mat may be hinged to permit the chair mat to be folded to a smaller configuration where it is more readily stored or transported.
Reusable urinal mat with replaceable absorbent pad
Urinal mat having a flexible, gridded, porous top layer, a disposable, highly liquid-absorbent pad or pad-type middle layer, and an effectively waterproof bottom layer, heavy enough to stay in place without adhesives, and thin enough, with tapered sides, to avoid being a tripping hazard. The top layer fits within a recess in the bottom layer and interlockingly attaches to the bottom layer, with the pad in-between. The interlocking attachment is accomplished by the fitting of horizontal protrusions on the perimeter of the top layer fitting into corresponding peripheral recesses in the bottom layer, and provides a smooth level horizontal top surface of the mat.
Disposable liquid-binding floor mat
A disposable liquid-binding floor mat includes a water penetration layer, a water absorption layer, a water-proof layer and a self-adhesive layer. The water penetration layer is a thin piece of non-woven fabric and is superimposed on the water absorption layer. The water absorption layer is made of a hydrophilic thin plate and is superimposed between the water penetration layer and the water-proof layer. The water-proof layer is made of a water-proof film material and is superimposed between the water absorption layer and the self-adhesive layer. The self-adhesive layer is made of a self-adhesive material and is superimposed below the water-proof layer. The water penetration layer, the water absorption layer, the water-proof layer and the self-adhesive layer are bonded as an integrated non-sealed edge structure, and a deodorant is added into the water absorption layer.
Flooring guard for pets
A device protects the area of a doorway defined by first and second doorjambs separated by a distance. The device includes a mat body having protrusion with a first side edge and an opposed, second side edge. The protrusion is sized and shaped to be positioned in the doorway between the first and second door jambs.
TRANSITION STRIPS FOR CHAIR MATS
A transition strip for rigid mats is provided. The transition strips are dimensioned and adapted to engage the elevated, relative to the underlying supporting surface, cantilevered peripheries of such rigid mats so as to provide a generally continuous smooth transitional edge between the top working surface the rigid mat and the supporting surface it is laying on. The transition strip has a longitudinal connector joined to yet extending away from an opposing bridge structure. The longitudinal connector is adapted to attached to the elevated periphery so that the bridge structure provides the smooth transition between the mat and supporting surface, lessening the likelihood of people stubbing their toes or tripping on the peripheries of such floor coverings.
ABSORBENT PAD HOLDER AND CONTAINMENT SYSTEM
An absorbent pad holder and containment system includes a frame that can be adjustable in length on all sides to accommodate a varying range of absorbent pad dimensions. The frame design allows the absorbent area of the pad to remain flat while the ramped perimeter design of the frame and the corner attachment system holds the outer edge of the absorbent pad into an upward position. This creates a containment barrier for liquid that would normally flow over the edge of the pad and onto the floor surface. The perimeter design of the liner keeps the pad centered and provides flow of all liquid landing on the pad within the absorbent area of the pad.

Anti-slip, liquid management flooring surface cover article and method of manufacture
An anti-slip, liquid management cover article for a flooring surface. The article includes a film defining a working face. A microstructured surface is formed at the working face, and includes a plurality of primary ridges and capillary microchannels each having a bottom surface. Each primary ridge is an elongated body having a length. A shape of a portion of at least one of the primary ridges is non-uniform in a direction of the length. The capillary microchannels facilitate spontaneous wicking of liquid. With this construction, the non-uniform shape establishes an elevated coefficient of friction at the working face as measured in multiple directions. The cover article minimizes the risk of pedestrian slippage, even in the presence of water or other liquids.
