The present disclosure generally relates to providing electronic locking systems. Using novel designs and network technology, the present systems, methods, and apparatuses can provide a secure alternative to a cam lock or a lock box for storing items that may be left unattended, without the use of a physical key. For example, in certain embodiments, the present systems, methods, and apparatuses can facilitate the locking and unlocking of a cam lock or a lock box by using a digital construct, an encryption system, and various native and/or third-party software components.

An article for mounting on an inclined or vertical surface includes at least one piece of reclosable fastener material, collectively comprising a plurality of apertures formed therein; and at least one pocket, located within the article behind said piece(s) of reclosable fastener material, each of the apertures providing a respective passageway from the pocket(s) to an exterior of the article. Each aperture permits a head of an elongate fastener to be inserted therethrough, so that the elongate fastener can be retained within the pocket(s), and the plurality of apertures thereby allowing the article to hang from a plurality of elongate fasteners that have been driven into the surface.

A reconfigurable lighted post (e.g., mailbox), including a post, and first and second dual channel members attached to the post. The dual channel members include dual channels, where the first channel of each houses a strip of LEDs, and the second channel defines a channel into which an insert to be back or trans-illuminated can be inserted. An apparatus for physical correspondence recognition and processing in a postal system is described, comprising a housing comprising an opening for receiving physical correspondence, the physical correspondence including a readable element including textual information, and a secure enclosure for storing the physical correspondence, a visual processing and digitizing component, for processing the physical correspondence and the at least one readable element, dimension and weighing component for determining dimensions and weight of the physical correspondence, and a communication component coupled to the housing, for transmitting and receiving recognition and processing information related to the physical correspondence and readable element.

Systems are disclosed for producing audio that is audible outside a collection box for delivery items, the collection box including a user-operated door. The system can include a trigger device, a sensor, an audio transducer that generates the produced audio from an audio signal, an audio chip and one or more processors. The sensor can detect the trigger device when the trigger device is in close proximity, and the one or more processors can be operably connected to the sensor and to the audio chip, where the one or more processors signal the audio chip to send the audio signal to the audio transducer. The one or more processors can further receive and record a status signal indicating that the door is in an opened state. Systems can further include an environmental sensor that measures environmental information.

A mail delivery alert system includes a mailbox that may receive mail and the mailbox has a door. A sensing unit is positioned within the mailbox and the sensing unit senses light and motion. Thus, the sensing unit detects when the door is opened. The sensing unit generates an alarm sequence when the door is opened. An electronic device is provided. The electronic device is in electrical communication with the sensing unit. Thus, the electronic device receives the alarm sequence from the sensing unit. The electronic device issues an alert when the electronic device receives the alarm sequence. Thus, the electronic device alerts that mail has been delivered to the mail box.

An adaptive electric dual-controlled intelligent lock includes a mechanical clutching structure and an intelligent electronic control structure. The mechanical clutching structure includes a lock head, a lock cylinder and a lock tongue, wherein: the lock cylinder includes movable buckles, springs and a bearing. After being inserted into the keyhole of the lock head and then into the locked groove, a key is turned, the movable buckles move in an elastic range of the springs and drive the lock tongue connected with the bearing to swing, thereby realizing a mechanical unlocking process. The intelligent electronic control structure includes a PCB (printed circuit board), a motor and a shifting lever, wherein: a wireless control module is connected with an external mobile intelligent device; after the motor is started, the shifting lever pushes the movable buckles, so that the bearing drives the lock tongue to swing, thereby achieving an intelligent unlocking process.
