Retainer sleeve design with anti-rotation features
A retainer sleeve includes an at least partially annular body defining an axis of rotation, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction. The body may also have a radially inner annular surface defining a radially inner aperture, and a first anti-rotation feature extending radially inwardly from the radially inner annular surface including a sloping ledge having a locking surface that faces at least partially in the circumferential direction and along a direction that is parallel to the axis of rotation, forming an oblique angle with the direction that is parallel to the axis of rotation.
GROUND ENGAGING TOOL ATTACHMENT ARRANGEMENT
Provided is an arrangement that attaches a ground-engaging tool (GET) to an adapter on support structure of ground/earth engaging/conditioning apparatus. A retainer is in a recess of the adapter. A fastener is received through the GET aperture and into the adapter aperture. The head of the fastener can be within a recess of the GET. The recess can be multi lobed/shaped to receive the retainer and prevent rotation or other torsional/lateral deformation of the retainer when tightening/inserting the fastener. A fastener has a first threaded portion adjacent the head of the fastener and a second threaded portion along a shaft portion of the fastener extending distal from the head. The first threaded portion can be wider and/or of a more coarse thread pitch than the second threaded portion.
Quick-change system for a sweep
Quick-change system for a sweep comprising a sweep with a neck and a removable wedge, wherein the neck serves to couple the sweep to a cultivator shank and comprises an inner surface with at least one lug that fits in at least one hole of the cultivator shank, and side flaps configured to clasp the cultivator shank, the removable wedge being inserted between the side flaps and the cultivator shank and holding the cultivator shank against the inner surface of the neck, so that the combination of the lug fitted in the hole of the cultivator shank and the removable wedge inserted in the neck makes it possible to retain and fasten the sweep to the cultivator shank.
Method of fixing a wear element on the front edge of a support and corresponding fixing means
The invention relates to a method of fixing a wear element (2) on the front edge of a support (1) using fixing means, where the wear element (2) comprises two arms (3) with first through openings (4) and the support (1) has a second through opening (5) sandwiched between the first through openings (4). The fixing means comprise a C-shaped first body (6), a wedge (14), ratchet means (24) between both and a second body (8), which are housed in the openings in an assembled position. The method consists of positioning the first body (6) and the second body (8) in the openings, inserting the wedge (14) between both, positioning a screw (21) between the wedge (14) and the second body (8) and screwing it in such a way that the wedge (14) moves with respect to the second body (8) and the first body (6) until the wedge (14) reaches its assembled position, and at least partially unscrewing the screw (21) and removing the screw (21) from the fixing means.
Crop-production tool
An earth working tool (20), in particular a cultivator bar for agriculture, has a mounting segment (21) and a working part (22) directly or indirectly adjoining it. A wear-optimized design for the earth working tool (20) is achieved according to the present invention by the fact the mounting segment (21) comprises two support surfaces (21.6, 21.8), spaced apart from one another, that are part of a hook-in connection.
SHEATH FOR A SOIL WORKING ROLLER
A sheath for a soil working roller (20) of a soil processing machine, said sheath is rotatable about a roller axis of rotation and comprises a plurality of sheath segments (40), mounted or mountable to surround a roller body (22) of the soil working roller (20) and following one another in the circumferential direction, wherein a plurality of roller tools (48) is arranged on an outer side of the sheath segments (40) positioned to be facing away from the roller body, wherein at least one part of the roller tools (48) comprise an interchangeable holder mounted on a respective sheath segment (48) and a replaceable tool detachably mounted or mountable on the interchangeable holder of the same, wherein a fastening opening is formed in the interchangeable holder for accommodating a fastening shaft of a replaceable tool mounted or to be mounted on the interchangeable holder, wherein a tool through opening (84) is provided in association with the at least one interchangeable holder in the sheath segment (40) supporting the same.
SOIL WORKING TOOL
Soil working tool for an agricultural machine, in particular a cultivator, which is fixed on a tool holder and has a tine-like region to which a preferably guide plate-like element is attached. In order to achieve an improved soil flow across the soil working tool with good wear protection and thus a sufficient service life of the soil working tool, the tine-like region has two side strips which run in the longitudinal direction of the soil working tool and have notch-like recesses extending in the transverse direction, and that an at least approximately smooth center strip region is located between the two side strips in the center in the longitudinal direction of the tine-like region of the soil working tool.
Quick-fit coupling for a wearing part of a soil-working tool
A wearing part arrangement (1) provided with a holder (11) providing releasable attachment of a wearing part (12) by means of a socket-and-pin type quick-fit coupling, wherein the holder (11) comprises a pair of opposing first guide portions (1132) being arranged to face corresponding supporting faces (1221) provided on the wearing part (12), and a pair of second guide portions (1134) arranged to face corresponding top faces (1223) of the wearing part (12), wherein one of the pair of the opposing first guide portions (1132) and the corresponding side supporting faces (1221) of the wearing part (12) is provided with at least one elevation (1222), and the other one of the pair of the opposing first guide portions (1132) and the corresponding side supporting faces (1221) is provided with a corresponding recess (1135) arranged for receipt of the elevation (1222) when the wearing part (12) is in engagement with the holder (11).
UTENSIL FOR AGRICULTURAL WORKING
The invention relates to a utensil (1) for agricultural working provided with two main elements, a work tool (2) and a support element (3), made so as to be couplable to each other by means of a fastening device (4). Such device (4) is received in an opening (5) made on the support element (3) and in abutment surfaces (60, 61) which are made on the work tool (2); said abutment surfaces (60, 61) advantageously are shaped so that the tool (2) can be coupled and locked with the support element (3) according to whether the device (4) abuts with one of the ends thereof with one or with the other of the two abutment surfaces (60, 61).
